The Wild West

I am going to open with the newest tragedy...another shooting...this time in a CHURCH!...Texas...I guess that is termed 'the west'...as it is so from the pixel capitol of the USA...west of NYC...by now, you should have seen the video of the terror...people worshiping in a 'safe' house of the religion...why would someone do such a thing?...just look at who is in the premise...why them?...and...due to the lack of gun control in our land...not only does the killer have a weapon, but so do the parishioners...and those who guard the people in the church...notice I said, 'guard' the people...we have gotten to this level...is this what the NRA leadership wants?...gun fights?...is this what OUR leadership wants?...

BTW, the killings took a total of SIX seconds...

I am appalled...not by those who came to protect the people...but, from the leadership of our country to allow this to happen...of course, the response from them will be 'our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families'...cringeworthy...what will it take to get change?...listen, kids, it is not the one in office right now...that is for sure...

Odd that I am listening to CSNY 'live' right now...and the song is 'Chicago'...we can change the world...terrific song and full of meaning...for that time, ah, 1971...Vietnam...throw 'em out the door...

The series that we are so involved in...the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel...find it fascinating for it's devotion to the life of Jewish people in NYC...it's like a Broadway play that is done in pixel form...this country is filled with so much diversity...and now, I think of the terror of the Jewish people in NYC that is going on RIGHT NOW in the same city...

OK, my rant shall stop for today about the lack of leadership...

Another rant though...this time in football...the officiating...with the ability of the 'play review', it SHOULD eliminate most human errors...which will certainly happen...but, when it is NOT used...frustrates the sporting world...get it right...

Pass interference...what is it, when is it called, and when it is blatant, why not call it?...the same in hoops with the block/charge call...I guess that is where I am coming from...the blatant calls not being called...

The NFL...man, it came down to so many games as to who got in the playoffs and what seed they were...in the last set of games!...the bye is so critical, I say...to rest up the banged up bodies...the surprise teams?..my Mariota-less Titans...the surprise also?...the Pats losing to the Dolphins at home and losing the bye, too...bye bye...Seattle losing by an inch...seriously...sayonara to the Cowboys...so, here we go again...the best teams?...ah, with my lack of prognostication skills intact, I have Kansas City, Baltimore, and N'orleans...do NOT bet these...ha ha...

In the NBA...it is all about the Lake Show...if they want it, it is theirs this season...yup...I think that LeBron is rejuvenated...they have the talent to win it all...if they play D...iff...math term...

You see this Teerump Tweet?...calls NYC falling apart...hmmm, well, he has moved down to Miami, to save his taxation woes, I reckon...hey, that makes the city better...WTH?...this was an interesting stat...that Teerump has played more golf in office in 3 years, than Prez O did in 8 years....ALREADY!...maybe that is good, as he is out of the office...

This Mick Mulvaney is downright scary...get used to it...his smack talk...and he has the ear of Donny...I think that his press conference was the last one that this regime has given...isn't that scary, too?...nobody meets the press...apparently, it is 'trust us'...no questions, please...

All right, I have ranted enough for this am...let's just see where the day goes and what unfurls...is Donny back in DC?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
