Foggy Friday

It is really a beautiful morning down here in South SoCal...slight fog...as happens occasionally as we live on the bay, near the ocean...the temp?...today will be 68*...not too hot, and not too cold...it's a golf day, so this will be slightly brief...ah, isn't that a bit redundant?...c'mon, Horse, you are better than that...

The House will do their vote on the Impeachment this fine, Friday the 13th...the committee that is...then off it goes to the full House...for it's tally...I still can't understand the defense of Trump by the Repubs...apparently are totally bullied by him...fear of losing support...I guess...be aware, kids...be very aware...listen and watch carefully to the number of newspaper editorials, that are calling for his removal...and as I continually say, just sit back...let the government work...the way it shall...

Moving way down to the sport in Australia...gosh, that was a fun day of golf at the President's Cup...the Internationals were kicking the USA's arse for most of the session...then, at the end of the rounds, high drama, and salvaging a tie for the alternate shot competition...hey, it is good viewing if you are into golf...but, also, it is golf...don't get too hyped for the win at all costs thang...there are good players throughout the World...not just here...

I did go to my fav vinyl store...terrific place...on 6th in Hillcrest...Record City...the prices are greeaaatt...vast selection of discs...unfortunately, the Christmas records were picked over...nothing said 'pick me'...but did find 5 others that were...awesome...took them home and we grooved...a couple of Johnny Mathis vintage ones...perhaps the most intriguing was a concert of the Everly Brothers, from England in '83...oh yea, and a Willie...'80...you who have not got into the vinyl, give it a twirl...oh yea, the cost for all 5?...$20.35...yup...

The PDX Blazers were on the tele last eve...TNT...maybe TBS...one of them...in Denver...got hammered...listen, I am a broken record (sorry) about this...but, their defense is deplorable...hey, but, Melo can still play...same age as LeBron...in the booth before and after that station's games...are Kenny, Shaq, and Charles...as good as the games...ha ha...anyhoo...the two big guys suggested that the 76ers power center was just cruising...in the banter the night before...Embiid...he agreed...wow...and lit it up the following nite vs the Celts for 38...hmmm, their impact bigger than the Philly coach?...

Get back to work and quit all your Tweeting, Donny...record (sorry) number of them, emerging from his keyboard...I guess...maybe from his cell phone...I know this is generic...but has there ever been a more paranoid person in the White House?...subjective?...

SONOS...my speaker system...what do you have?...simple and wonderfully made...loads of updates...really...they have come up with another speaker...a stand alone...that they are raving about...have not heard it...

I don't care what you think about this...but, I dig Wham...'Last Christmas' is a rad sound...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
