Veterans Day

It is a must to stop and recognize those who have fought and served in the military, on this the Veterans Day...as we look back at the wars and skirmishes (?) that have prevailed over the years...makes no difference the why's now...the soldiers, sailors, and all that were involved...just did what they were ordered to do...fought and served our country...I honor them all...

What a delightful game for the fans, who like to watch football played in the driving snow...the weather precursor to what is hitting the northeast today...Green Bay and Carolina...in Wisconsin...as the Packers barely held on for the W...TG for the Red Zone, as it was not played on the pixels down here...

The Red Zone has it's highlights and downfalls...but, there are more of the former than the latter...one such was the conclusion of the Bucs and the Card game...where yet another blown pass interference call was made...er, not made...geez, with the availability of the replay, it should be a no brainer...get it right...ah, for whatever reason it was not reviewed...just don't bet on the NFL...don't do it...

The collegiate rankings came out...and the Ducks moved up one spot to 6th...that's fine...some of the teams ahead still play each other...one that doesn't, is Clemson...talk all you want about the weak Pac 12, but their league is far punier...don't get me wrong, they are a very good squad...but who they play is a cake walk...whatever a cake walk is...that seems a bit hypocritical...walking with a cake, is not easy....I digress..

Can't think of a better video call from my son and his son...as the boy can climb up and nearly walk, and talk and well...smile and laugh...and make the day of us all...

All I have to do is heap praise on a team, and POOF, there they go...as the LaLa Lake Show looked like liver and onions last nite...as the visiting Toronto (and current champs) dismantled the Lakers...I dunno, kids...they play too many games...

The spiraling down, like for many seasons, the NY Knickerbockers...of the NBA...are without quality players...big time the truth...and the ownership is lambasting their latest coach...who they just had to have a year ago...makes no sense, as Coach K could be at the helm, and they would be losing bundles and bundles of games...

I did NOT realize how big the UO gals team win was...over the PROFESSIONAL ladened USA National team...I tip my Duck cap off to them...bully for ya'll...

Donny Jr wrote a book...well someone did...just think a ghost writer is involved...now, I don't know that for a fact...but, c'mon, he is not the brightest lite on the tree...anyhoo, he was actually on a college campus to promote the thang...imagine...supposedly with a select crowd of Teerumpites...this was at UCLA...and he started his oration with a 'there will be no Q and A today'...even his disciples thought negative of that...booed him off stage, as he and his latest former FOX gal, scurried off...buh bye...

People's Choice Awards...the KFam won for the best reality show...ha ha ha...should be for the most augmented People award...all of them...the Q (see above, Jr) is, what parts of them actually still can move?...

When you surf about the web net...there are countless ads that come up...my fav are the ones that tell you the best items for purchase for this Xmas...ah, people are already buying?...and the numbers are telling?...or are Skip, Flip, and Megan making the whole thing up?...

This week will be a beaut...as the House of Reps are going to go LIVE!...in the Impeachment Inquiry...Donny is squirming big time...trying his darnedest to squash it...throwing out as many road blocks as he can...sorry, Dude...it's gonna happen...and you ain't going to like it a bit...well, we are...the truth be told...

Ah, where has Giulani been?...it's like where is Waldo...has he been in communication with Teerump?...must be bunkered in, working on a plan of attack, er, shield, from the inevitable...with a team of lawyers...

Last week, the Lt Col Alexander Vindman, who testified to the House...he WAS the director for European Affairs at the National Security Council...well, Donny didn't like his testimony...Trump fired him this weekend...happy Veterans Day, Colonel...

You do know that Flip and Skip did cut a song...that was famous...who calls their kid, Flip?...was it made up by the bloke himself?...actually they were 'Skip and Flip'...their hit, sort of one, was 'Cherry Pie'...they broke up and Flip went on to sing the biggee, 'Alley-Oop', when he was now the Hollywood Argyles...he continued on as a producer and his gigantic one, was 'Monster Mash'...ah, he was really Gary S. Paxton...you ask about Skip?...Clyde Battin...ended up being a sessions dude for a number of bands...the Byrds and the Flying Burrito Bros to name a few....hmmm, they could have been called 'Gary and Clyde'....I see why the changed their names...
