There Is An Angle

Two of the better games of the season...yesterday...as the angle is there...for a sneak in to the top 4 by the Ducks...as they were in a fetal position...ah, in a bye week...as those ranked above them...had to persevere in their tough match ups...'Bama and LSU...Penn St and Minnesota...wait, there is more...the top ranked Ohio St Buckeyes may be in for a letdown...as the NCAA is looking at 'em, for a violation that could cost them some of their earlier wins...gosh, much like the bloke in the White House, just sit back and let him and them, dismantle themselves...er, himself...who am I talking about?...ha ha...

Donny finally found a place that would cheer for him...Alabama...as he attended the huge game vs the Tide and LSU...the 2 best teams in the land?...nope...'Bama's defense is highly sketchy...not what I expected...nor did the Bengal Tigers...let's be clear here...I dig Coach O...and pull for him ever since the USC Trojans did him bad...and let him go...as LSU showed that they are clearly the better team of the two...fun game...

The other, was just a very exhilarating win for the Minnesota Gophers...first time that their collegiate team has been 9-0 since 100 years ago...something like that...as they beat the highly favored Penn St Nittany Lions...Nittany?...in a barnburner (?), as they held on to get the W...the fans went delirious...as did us Duckees...the number 4 ranker, goes bye bye...

Now, we wait for the AP and Coaches Polls for the new rankings...hey, it's of great interest...and maybe, just maybe, a nice new angle for UO....hmmm, there are the committee dudes who rank them now...released in the afternoon....there you go...that is also...

Staying in Oregon...the Ducks ladies hoop team won a game that has the collegiates a buzz...they beat the USA Women's National Team...wooah...in front a huge crowd, as well...talk about pre-season rankings...

With all the hullabaloo about the upcoming Prez election...lost is the fact that some one has declared himself a candy man for 2024...yup, already....your dude, Kanye West...what party is he affiliated?...I hear he is going to be part of a 3rd one...you've heard of yesteryear's Whigs...it's a spinoff, that will be based in LaLa Land...at the site of the Kardashian Compound...the are forming as the Wig Party...the party electorate has even changed his name, to protect the innocent...wait, that is wrong terminology...Christian Genius Billionaire...I kid you not...if a successful whupping of the Demos and Repubs...he will enter office, and his 1st lady will be your fav chic of all time, Kim Kardashian Genius Billionaire...

Today is our pre-emptive turkey day...you heard me right...as we will cook a breast...do the stuffing...gonna sneak a baker in, instead of mashers...asparagus...cheat on the gravy, with the already prepared Trader Joe's version...of course, some whole berry cranberries...again, not from scratch...which I always do at Thanksgiving...and some crazy good rolls...top it off with a double crusted apple pie, alamode, of course...sound good?...does to moi...if you are interested in joining us, give us a text...and we can put up another table setting...
