Black Friday



Hey, how was your Thanksgiving?...the meal good?...the fam together?...how about that football?...and what about the weather?...lightning and thunder down here...with lots of rain...'we need it'...gosh, if I hear that line one more time, I'm gonna scream...for the grub, we had the Horsebaked Ham...took longer to cook, then I figured...almost 4 hours to get it at 140*...it was terrific!...

This day after is called 'Black Friday'...loads and loads of great buys for the Holidays...I guess...went on the web net last eve and then this am, and the ads appeared to be the same...not sure about where you live, but the amount of stores has dwindled...thus, the online shopping is very appealing...Amazon, Walmart, and Target, are the leaders...there are scads more...

What are the 'hot' items?...techy stuff, for sure...phones, TV's, earbuds and earphones, Alexa thangs, computers, laptops, and well, ya'll get the drift...I do think the earbuds will be the big winner...wireless...I tried, but the ones I got, were not good...still looking...for moi, I am still in the hunt for the vinyl...kind of funny, as we have asked each other what we want for Xmas...we have everything already...

I saw a line from the RNC that said that the Teerump Pix, with him like a Rocky figure, was REAL...ha ha...a real phony...still think that many in his base, will believe that it is actually him...

Was surprised at how much I enjoyed the NFL games yesterday...the turkey games...where the MVP of each got a turkey gam to eat...da Bears hung on over Detroit...good un...the Bills stomped all over the Cowboys...as the masses there, are calling for a coaching change...listen, kids...they are as not as talented as they think...well, the Horse likes to see them lose...and in the nitecap, the Saints whupped the Falcons...good lord, that poor QB from Atlanta, got sacked NINE times...and some of them, hurt like hell...a horrific O line...

Talk a bit about coaching changes...happens way too often...in the Pros, it's who you have to use...and that is all about the GM...it's not like in college, where you recruit kids to come play for you...if it were I...the GM would be the one to go...much more than the HC...

Some college hoops...there were some huge upsets this weekend...well, not sure about HUGE...I am not sure there are elite teams this season...UNC, Duke, and Oregon all got beat...but, I will tell ya'll this...there is this team right outta here, that is dang good...I am not joshing you...SDSU...play terrific D, and this year, have shooters...pay attention...they play HARD!...

So I guess we are now in the Holiday Season...ah, well, we have had our tree up and the place decorated for a couple of weeks...true statement...this happens, when we both are retired...OK, that's OK...

This may seem frivolous to you...but, I ordered a collapsible hand truck...from Cosco, not Costco...weird, huh?...and there were NO instructions...none...there were no screws to screw in...nothing to add on...it was in a tight package...stared at the bloody thing for a long time to figure it out...BOING!...went on You Tube, and they had it there...how to open it up and close it...voila!...now, why wouldn't the company include this when they sell it?...it is a dandy, but the instructions, a brandy is needed...

Unbelievable...there are many 'rivalry games' at the end of the college football season...that's NOT the unbelievable part...you see in Mississippi, there is the Egg Bowl...Ol Miss vs Miss St...and, like most rivalries, to win the game MAKES the season...here we go...Ol Miss scored a late TD to set up a tie to the game...however, the WR who scored the touchdown...got carried away you could say...and mimicked a dog peeing, in his celebration...got hit with an 'unsportsmanlike penalty'....moved the XP out of the comfort range...the kicker missed it...the team lost...by that one point...he will be remembered forever....

And this...a policeman ordered a drink at the local Starbucks...when it came to him...the name on the cup...that the servers put on...was, get this, 'Pig'...this in Oklahoma...oh my...

Breaking...an incident at the London Bridge...man oh man, when does all this stuff stop?...

What's for breakfast?...diced ham and scrambled eggs...fried scalloped taters...and some muffins...sound good?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
