A Reality Check

Hey ya'll. am back from a mini-vacay, 'glamping' at the beach...had so much fun and having them miracle Mackles join us with their Class B made it even better...you'd a thunk that with all the stuff we took, we would have been gone a week...and brought back...anyhoo, back at the zoo, for a mighty festive week ahead of us...

The joy in the possible run for the final 4 has ended for the Ducks...as they got handled by the hosting ASU Sun Devils...the score was not indicative of the REALITY check...this is a good UO team, not a great one...the QB was just awful for the 3 quarters, kids...just awful...and I say this too often, much to the dismay of my PNW colleague...the play calling is not as good as it could be...this is a game that the Ducks needed to RUN the ball...and the overuse of the pass, just killed the momentum of most drives...oh well, the D was getting mauled, too...might not have made a difference...POOF!...

The resurgence of the OSU Beavers continues...with a strong showing in the Palouse...a game that they SHOULD have won...as the offenses dominated...the Beavs were up and in the driver's seat...and the coaching brass made a colossal error...at midfield with about a minute to go...in lieu of kicking the ball down the field and making WSU go the length of it, for a TD...they went for it on 4th down...???...didn't get it and the coaching guru, Mike Leach, got his guys to traverse but 50 yards for the win...which they did...ugh...

This week's Civil War shall be a dandy...with each of the combatants licking their wounds...it's at Eugene, and that is the only advantage I see...if it were in Corvallis, I'd pick the Bevos...

The other team that I follow, also got whupped...the Aztecs were in Hawaii...and got what they wanted, almost...a low scoring affair...but, as per usual, very little offense and got the L, 14-11...weird score, huh....BTW, this was NOT televised...which could be the 3rd or 4th game, that this happened...no joy in Mudville...

The end of the visual for the impeachment inquiry...he did it...they showed it...and the Repub base basically says, 'so what?'...they will vote...he will get impeached...it will go to the Senate for a trial...Mitch, Lindsey and the majority Repubs in the Senate, will follow the Bloke's orders and it will be scrapped...however, it will take a couple of months...valuable time for his campaign of smearing...he just doesn't know who he has to rev up to slander...

Jr wrote a book...well, he may have...probably a 'ghost writer', like his daddy did with his novel...ha ha...it can't be the truth, can it?...the numbers are important for the Trump Party...so, the RNC decided to help out...and bought $95,000 worth of them...really?...really...let's see, come to the next revival, and get a FREE book and Cap!...signed!!!...JR...

Keeping with this totally negative blog...the Trailblazers have lost 4 straight...good lord, the acquisition of Melo, has not jumped started them, like they had hoped...nope...same coach, same defensive philosophy...same results...I get it...can't they?...

Michael Bloomberg thinks he can buy his way into the election...ah, well...maybe...he is starting a multi-million dollar blitz all over the country...brace yourself for ads that just, hmmm, just may be more aggravating and as numerous as the insurance companies...the gal on Progressive...the State Farm 'she shed'...the good hands dude...and on and on...oh, by the way, he is a Demo...was a Repub, but not now...

We were down by the border...and the one thing that stood out...was where is this building of 'Trump's Wall' happening?...I see the old one...but, nothing that resembles new stuff...

When we are set up at our camp site...the tele that we get, is from the airwaves, only...and ABC, along with a whole gaggle of Mexican channels, was the one we got...and we happened on the View...is it just me, or are the gals on that show, ticked at the whole, wide world?...and at each other?...wooah...

JT...ah, Timberlake...got his pix taken...with one of his fellow stars for a flick he his filming...I think that is the background...this is my smut for the day...ha ha...and it showed that the gal was 'inadvertently, resting her hand on his leg'...ah, happens all the time to me...nope...and then, 'they were holding hands'...listen kids, this is what you do when you are just friends...apparently...

See what happens when I take a few days off from writing?...I get antsy and want to write a book, just like Jr has done...or, whoever wrote it for him...I would do me own...

What is happening in Israel?...the former leader gets indicted...I can't even try to spell his name...well, here goes...Netanyahu...a good buddy of Donny...ha ha...as he lost power, the country's AG nailed him...he calls out 'coup!'...and there you go...think that Trump doesn't see this?...

Thanksgiving...what ya'll doing?...the clan is staying up north...so, we are hovering in and doing our own thing...not going to a restaurant...hey, I like to cook...in lieu of the turkey, it is going to be a ham...and NOT Honeybaked...Horsebaked, yup...scalloped taters...and a myriads of add ons...the follow up meals are ham sands...bean and ham soup...ham and eggs...perfect...

For my finale today...I ordered some ear buds...and damn if they are not near impossible to figure out...how to get both of them to work at the same time...I'm gonna give them the day to connect to one another...and if not, back they go to Amazon...Daffy Duck...of course, they were $40, do I have to shell out $140 for the Apple ones?...
