Monday's Musings

Yup, an early tee time makes this a very quick blog...so how was your weekend?...must say it was mighty fine around here in SoCal...weather was terrific...heading into the 80's this week...what?...supposed to be 93* out at Singing Hills...egads...

There was more to the story about Trump's change of heart...cancelling the G-7 meeting at his pad in Miami...of course he blamed the Demos and the 'fake news' media...the real reason?...cuz you can't believe a word he says...was that the Repubs were fed up with him...and he had to appease them...more shades of the lack of light in his camp...

Speaking of weather...the tornado (s?) that hit Dallas were absolutely terrifying, don't you think?...you'd never a thought about them, while watching the Cowboys/Eagles in the friendly confines of Jerry's place...I bet the rides home were just awful...I'm wondering out loud here...but, if the power goes off in that area, does that arena have generators?...

The LaLa Chargers, got in place to beat the now Mariota less Titans...scored twice, in the last seconds of the game...only to have BOTH of them overturned by the replay center...listen, you must get the calls right...too bad, Spanos...ha ha...

Mulvaney...think this is his last week in DC...well, with the Trump entourage?...my bet is even money...he gone...

For all of the hullabaloos about the cheating parents getting their kids into college, and there impending days in prison...the real cheaters in the political field walk the halls of, well, you know...this just has to be an eyesore to all judges out there...fine 'em...but prison?...give us all a break...

Up north, like north of us...in Canada...the vote is today for their Prime Minister...any thoughts?...

Hey, I talked about the silly season in the yesteryears of the PGA...and dang it all, there was a skins game in Japan last night...ie, Tiger, Rory, Hideiki, and Jason Day...kind of fun...I watched thru 6 holes prior to hitting the hay...JD was the big winner...

The Ducks are now 11th in the Nation...climbing, kids, climbing...WSU next and that is always a great test...

In the ever changing landscape of the Demo fight to be the candy person...Mayor Pete has been on the rise lately...man, I don't know if I have seen a race like this...

I am never too old to learn...well...at a function this past weekend...I did my norm, asked people questions...and, like usual...they spilled their guts out...nary a return Q....ha ha...true dat...but, the response was to what they read on a regular basis...another part of the puzzle, was a compatriot saying she read the same...peaked me interest...how could I be so lame to not even know the publication?...the Economist...have YOU read it?...based out of England...hmmm...is it left, right, or ???...what else is there?...

Gotta run, kids...have a great day...
