Building a Bigger Wall

We are watching a debacle of the highest degree, right here in our United States of America...strong words?...you bet...OUR USA!...as the present inhabitant of the White House...is finding more ways to try to bully the people and Congress...as he is embroiled in the largest Impeachment proceedings of the modern era...his Impeachment...and, he is backed in a corner and battling in any way possible...

Barricading himself behind a Bigger Wall, so to speak...finding more and more ways to disrupt the process that we have set in the Constitution...I have said this before, but have you no shame?...he first has tried to rally his so called Republican base...'stick together'...'if you are not a follower of mine, then you are SCUM!'...in other words, defend me at all costs...

He then sent a myriad of House of Rep Republicans into the closed door hearings YESTERDAY...despite having the normal representation of both parties already there...the plan is to disrupt, kids...anything to show that he is in charge...or seemingly so...in an act that is so brazen, that it is hard to believe that it is happening...when was the last time, elected officials acted so irrational?...worse may be, on orders from the President of the USA?...

This happens in other countries, right?...not in OURS...alas, things have changed during this regime...good lord, big time...so many events that make me cringe...I guess to further make that point...in a court in Manhattan, a judge and a Trump lawyer...exchanged this...that what was said by Donny during the last election...'I could walk down 5th Avenue (in NYC) and shoot a man, and not be charged'...this was brought back up yesterday...in court, mind you...Trump's lawyer said that it is true, that he would have 'executive privilege' and not be charged....you see, the notion, is that all laws are for anyone OTHER than the President...I kid you not...

Behind his wall, are some people who just may be shaking at the idea that they may be next in line to be let loose...as the incrimination is getting too close, and they must take the fall...Mulvaney, Giuliani, and who else?...

I do the Carnac thing yet again...there will be more bizarre happenings that will occur...I have no idea what...how on earth, can you?...

The NBA has begun...listen, kids...it is just a game...and lots of 'em...nothing was more impressive than the individual effort by Kyrie Irving with his latest team, the Brooklyn Nets...scored 50 and was near unstoppable...but, they didn't win...the Blazers lost at home...Dame looked tired to moi...geez, on opening day?...today, the Clips are at the Warriors...interested?...you bet...

World Series Game 2...the Nats continue on their trek...beating Verlander...ah, well, he left with a one run deficit...and their relief corps got clobbered...momentum...will Washington clinch at home?...

Tiger is leading a tourney in Japan...what a round...started with 3 bogies, and then...BOOM!...9 birdies thereafter...just when I think he is through...

The mighty Padres have reportedly hired their new field manager, Jayce Tingler...have no clue...but, please AJ, let him call his own game...

Wooah, the Selena Gomez and the Bieber feud...I reckon...now in to music form...and the wife of the Biebs fighting back....now THAT will sell records...er, songs...well, whatever....

Da Cubbies fired their manager, the very sought after Joe Maddon...go on a nationwide search...then hire David Ross...recently retired from playing...egads, never managed prior...good luck Cubs...not a fan of this...

Ah, this should be a very relaxing day at the zoo...maybe a swim day...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
