It's the Downton Abbey weekend...if you were one of the millions that got hooked on the series...then this is YOUR time to continue the path...as it is on the BIG SCREEN...the next chapter...we have reservations at one of them plush seat theaters...the latest, for us, renovation...and reservation...prepay and get specific seats...order food, snacks, and beverages from the comfy confines of them...yes, we'd love to visit the castle...it is a castle, right?...er mansion....home?...whatever...

The protests in the climate change were huge...have NOT heard numbers, but they were held throughout the world...peacefully, I must add...to try to show the leaders of the countries that there is a massive problem, and that you, the elected officials...shall be working on solutions...not turning your collective heads...ah, good luck with that, with Donny...

The situation in the Middle East...Saudi Arabia...Trump fell for it...and we are sending troops there...as they call it, a 'moderate' deployment...whatever that means....letting him pull the trigger is downright scary, kids...too bad its not like in the 1700's, where the leaders are on the front lines...on horses...

USC beat Utah in LaLa...which probably saved the Trojan coach from a quick, good bye...and, threw the pundits in a scurry mode...as they have been touting the Utes as the possible rep from the west in the Final 4...so much rides on the Ducks at Stanford game today...UO fav by 10 1/2...and, the bloody game is NOT on the pixels down here in SoCal...booooo...and now...the Trib is wrong...the UO/Stanford game is on ESPN at 4...whew...

The mighty Padres were themselves favored last nite in the first game of the DBacks series...at Petco...what?...this team is in disarray...got clobbered by a bunch...last I saw was 8-0...ZERO!...at home!...rumors abound that the Mgr Green has lost the clubhouse...hey, kids, the guy at fault here is the GM...AJ Preller...that's the one who should get the axe...give HIM the axe, the boot, the heave ho...

BREAKING NEWS...the awful AJ Preller, the GM of the mighty Padres...has announced that the club has FIRED field manager Andy Green...

The unbelievable journey of Antonio Brown in the NFL...has come to an end...the Pats fired him...over so many allegations of misconduct, that it became too much...

Speaking of pots...we used our insta-pot for a quick stew...it has been taking up space in our pantry (tiny, I might add) for some time...actually called Power Pressure Cooker XL...the Costco version...30 minutes, and voila!...mighty tasty...we were about in the mode, of wrapping it back up and returning it...will try a roast next...

Country Joe West...no, not a Sanger, but a self righteous umpire in MLB...gives all officials a bad impersonation of what they SHOULD be like...in lieu, of being invisible and calling the game...he wants to strut his stuff out...belittle, badger and bully the managers and players in the game...wait, maybe he is taking his cue from someone presently inhabiting the White House...

JLo got back into her infamous Versace green dress...that was barely there...closed out a Euro fashion show with it...wait, it was a replica, and from what I saw...was even more barely there...ha ha...

Had a terrific meal at Ruths Chris...table right on the view point...service was splendid, as was the food...and, we brought most of it home...

Eliz Warren has started a trend...for all the candy peops...taking selfies with her...so, that's what the rest are doing now...well, not all of them...the Apprentice hasn't adopted the procedure...for obvious reasons...

Help me on this...when Congress subpoenas a person...and the Apprentice tells that person that he or she doesn't have to go...just don't go...what does Congress have the right to do?...I'd like to know...
