I am using the word 'again'...this time in reference to another mass shooting...'again' in Texas...a normal traffic stop, turned into abnormal...as the killer then went on a spree...this time shooting and killing people in the 'outside'...the numbers are staggering...7 dead, and 21 injured...imagine...I tell ya, kids...wherever I go, I think about an exit...but geez, now it's ANYWHERE!...it's not like these shootings are dwindling...witness one at a high school football game just a few days earlier...and on and on...think Congress is watching?...
The Ducks got beat in the waning seconds of the battle in Jerry Jones Stadium...you may be surprised by my take...it was a terrific first game for both teams...loads of talent on the field...and Auburn found a way to score almost at the buzzer...where I thought they were setting up for a winning FG, they threw it down field for the score...and, gulp, that covered the spread, too...anyhoo...I am still not sold on the brain trust of UO...it was mighty entertaining, and lawdy, the Ducks had ample times to put the game away, which they couldn't...or didn't...
The 'straight' parade went on as planned...Boston, Mass...whatever...hey, there was a term used for the people who came to watch the spectacle...ah, what else would one call it?...a headline was 'counter protestors'...hmmm, does that mean that instead of protestors, there were people there...that supported the parade, too?...is that what the writer meant?...c'mon...
We woke up to this...all 4 elevators are down...shhhhheeeeetttt...did we have an earthquake?...called down to the concierge and they had nuttin'...maybe we need to rethinketh our non-move...imagine them marvelous Mackles on the 32nd floor or in fact, all the fancies above us...5 is bad enough...
On the positive side, the SDSU Aztecs won game one...don't scratch your head on the score...one may think it is a beisbol score...6-0...as we threw a shutout on Weber St...won on two field goals...really...a few seasons back the HC vowed to never kick the bloody ball...wonder what he says about that right now?...ha ha...
Weird weather outside here in the GQ....figure we are set for some thunder and lightning...humidity high, with clouds...smack, crackle, and pop...just maybe...don't get it much around here...hey, we did hit the pool again yesterday, our record 5th straight...At least you can rest assured that your Prez is watching over us all...he canceled his trip to Poland...to be in the states to monitor the storm Dorian...went to Camp David...ah, he doesn't like it there much...apparently...changeth his mini-mind and decided he could do more observations if he was on his golf course in Virginia...yessiree, Bob...fore!...no, Donny, it is a five, now...
Must add on this...when one works for Trump...you sign a confidentially agreement...like you can't write or say what you see...or hear...and, if you break that trust...he will sue you...yea, he has threatened almost everyone he has fired...think that the latest 'personal assistant' was reminded of the pact?...seems to moi, if you get fired, all bets are off...let 'er fly!...

In our past, was the infamous Oregon State Fair...just down the street from where I grew up...the horse races, the ice cream, the animals, the scones, and the performers...I can recall watching some 'before they were stars' there....get this...Reba, Toby Keith, Williams and Ree, the Judds, and the list goes on...well, I see, via Facebook, that the Beach Boys were there last nite...way cool!...we have tix for them out at Humphreys in October...they are going to do two shows...
