Tariff War

How'd the latest rendition of the USA/China Tariff War go?...just look at today's DOW...down half a thousand (actually -623)...almost a quarter of a thou (-239), down at the Nasdaq...as China increased the tariff reversal towards Trump...how many of you out there, even had a clue about the tariff situation...prior to Trump?...his only method of country domination...or so, he thinks...

To combat the Chinese move, Donny was thinking that if the Fed drops the interest rate, the country, er, OUR country would be somewhat happy...but...the Fed did not make a move...and Trump is IRATE!...took to his Tweet to lambast the Fed leader...his name is not necessary...as if he can, Trump will fire him....or make it so miserable for the bloke to go to work, he will resign...

The rumor is that after the bell today for the market...Donny is to unleash even more tariffs on China...na na nee nee na na nee nee....when you fire from the seat of your pants...or what I call 'arse fire'...it becomes amusing...and horrifically sad, at the same time...yes, you Repub faithful, that will bury your head in the sand, while this dude continues to run amok...blindly follow the path of incompetence...might you rethink your thoughts?...

Not to be missed, is the fact that Europe is bonding together...quietly, with the singular memo of taking down Trump...well, all but Russia...hmmm, are they in Europe or Asia?...as the Euros are working on the very own tariff war on Donny, and thus, the USA...won't be long before way too many countries are pointing their collective fingers at US, and in particular, Trump...

So important is that the Demos must get their act in motion...find the one that will be the next best fit for our leader...proper leadership that we so need...polls polls polls...are suggesting that Joe Biden will be the one...followed by Eliz Warren and Bernie Sanders...I am still holding out for Kamala Harris, but we will see...

Speaking of polls...they are ALL devastating for Trump...he can call out fake news all he wants, but what is there is REAL NEWS...he has been losing votes, in almost unbelievable fashion...in so many ways...including his base...listen, kids, he will not go quietly...ah, 'Mutiny on the Bounty?'...

OK, then....

We just got back from the kids place...Marsh was a nanny for awhile...they are terrific parents...and the boy, Cyrus, is a real gem...so proud of them and him...

The mighty Padres host the Bosox...normally, er, for the past decade...we have been fodder for the Sox...we hit dingers...but, so does everyone with the alleged 'juiced beisbol'...but, we get few dudes on the base paths....is it lack of talent, or misuse of the players we have?...

The PGA finals are in Hotlanta again...no Tiger, so the viewership is down...duh...but, they are having east coast torrential type of weather...and the round is delayed....HATE the lightning...JT is still leading...for now...

My back you ask?...better...I should be able to get out and hack next week...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
