Seeking Nirvana

HEY!...how are you all?...as we are wading thru like the perfect weather pattern down here in SoCal...finally...high 70's and cooler at night...so we can have the windows open ALL the time...light breezes...as YOU know, we added screens to our doors and windows a couple of seasons back...thus, we are virtually bug free!...listen, kids, we are all seeking NIRVANA...

No, I am not a Buddhist, but the concept is there...and has been excepted into the bloody English language for some time...perfect tranquility is the goal...let's see...we are relatively healthy...wait, my back went out on the 5th hole...damn...OK, but overall, we are doing damn well...this will be temporary...I reckon...the condo is in tip top shape, with all that needed repairs have been made...the rigs are good...the tv and cable situation has been fixed...

Nirvana is near...so, then why do we seek elsewhere?...ah ha...good question...we feel the need for a new journey...another thing to tackle...and a house is what is in our eyes...I am kind of adding on to yesterdays stuff...about 13 or 14 years ago... when we were looking to move to SoCal, our money dude told us 'don't buy there'...and NOW, when we made mention to our broker friend, a move to central Oregon, he told us 'don't buy there'...ah, where do we buy?...

How about Greenland?...I jest...but, it is the hot item for your guy Trump...I mean, that's what he does...buys things or property or land, with other peoples money...tags his name on it...and voila!...Trumpland...with all the internal problems this country has, and this bloke wants to add on...what is he thinking, or is this another example of not...thinking...

The autopsy results are in...Epstein died of a hanging...doesn't answer all the queries, but the strangulation by someone else shall be put to rest...

Sad to hear that Peter Fonda died...age 79...I think of his movie 'Easy Rider' as one of the most epic ones of all time...a perfect look at an era...the clothes, the atmosphere, and the music...really, if you want some great tunes, buy that disc...

Egads, the mighty Padres have gone stale...a wretched back for their 20 yr old SS sensation, Tatis...listen, if we were in the hunt for the playoffs, he'd be out there in less than a week...but it looks like management is gonna shelve him for the season...losers...and the story is that same as they have given us for all the time we have been here...wait until next season...

This story line of Fox News is just now taking shape...that all FOUR of the top Demo candidates would BEAT Trump in 2020!...that Donny's base won't budge, but all else won't give him nary a vote...fingers crossed that this is the wave of the next year and a half...I repeat. from Fox News...

I saw yesterday that a post said that there are 50 days until Warrior hoops start up again...what?...NBA?...we are not even into football...must be wrong, right?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
