We are in an age of saying, writing, or delivering anything you want to...praise the web net, mostly...as one can get their message out as quickly as the keyboard writes, and the 'publish' is hit...just as intriguing, is that there can be absolutely no foundation for anything that is written...or said...can be nothing but lies...maybe accusations...but, hey, it's out there...

I bring this up, as the format used by Trump is no more than what I just described...he found that in his last election campaign that he could 'get out' his messages, without ever seeing the eyes of the people that are reading his Tweets...nobody could jeer him, or cheer him, for that matter...and he also found he could say 'anything' about anybody...and there was no retribution...none...

It did not stop after he was elected to our highest political position in our land...as most of us, thought that he would then go 'presidential'...nope...he then realized he could do the same, and claim immunity cuz of 'executive privilege'...thus, the Tweeting continued...in fact, multiplied!...there are sources out there, that have caught him in over 10,000 lies or partial ones...flat out...the numbers are staggering...so much for presidential...

In summation on this topic, I will use the line that was prevalent in the classic 'Seinfeld' Show...this is the character George Costanza talking to Jerry Seinfeld, "Jerry, just remember, it's not a lie if YOU believe it..."....ah, thus, using this line of thinking, Donny, the orator (of sorts), believes in his heart (if  he has one) that he is telling...the truth...

The mighty Padres stunk it up last eve...losing by a whopping 9-0...sure, at home...to them Bums...and curiously, AJ, the miracle GM (to some) picked up another OF from the waiver wire...a bloke from Oakland...hard to figure, as we have a glut in the outfield...need a SS in the worst way...whatever...it's not how I would put together a squad...some may call it, a 4.0 on the stink-o-meter...

Curious...is what Great Britain is going thru...as they elected their own version of Donny, Boris 'Badinof' Johnson...in his desire to Brexit...the reason for his gain of power...he asked the Queen to shut down the Parliament...egads, I didn't think she had any real stuff to do...other than to be curtsied to...and look down her nose at the commoners...what you don't learn every day...well, she must be in the magic wand biz, as she is closing down for the month of September...think Boris has started Tweeting yet, like his American twin?...

I am lost on Bachelor in Paradise...like who picks whom, when you have same sex lovers, as well as heterosexual ones?...where does she stand?...I'm sure they will figure it all out...but, they haven't had the highly touted rose ceremony since they have changed to program...

Trump just tweeted that Puerto Rico is one of the most corrupt places on earth...I'm going to say this right now, fuggit about the Puerto Rican vote in 2020, Donny...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
