Chilling Numbers

It was a surreal day of the viewing of Trump, trying to do the right thing...I guess...as he visited the last two cities that were inflicted with massacres...the problem is...or was...that he was not entirely welcome...hey, I'm sure there were many who liked his idea...and there we go...the divide of the country that now exists bigger than the 50's...

As I have been incensed by the lack of action that is needed, yes, in MY view, to curb the availability of rapid fire guns...I happened on a most CHILLING article...and graph, if you will...a list of ALL the mass murders in the USA from 1982 until this past week...the numbers are staggering...it lists the deaths, the injured, the killer (s), and the place it happened...it is called the Mother Jones, Mass Shootings...1982-2019...find it, Google it...it is a must read...you may, just may, change your way of thinking on the guns issue...

Many people like to use this day, as 'Throwback Thursday'...and post things that have gone on in their background...most are positive pix and comments...usually on Facebook...love it...so many times the app will bring up things that we have shown way back, too...my how we have changed...well, the color of the hair, for one...or, the number of hairs...ha ha...

The COX repair guys did arrive on time...and this time there were 3 of the brain trust...two were big wigs, I heard...great people...walked me through their ideas, and changes...and thus far, it is a working!...a brand new DVR box, the latest they got out there...some alterations in the wiring...and an  assurance to keep in contact with any problems...a direct line to a service dude...what else could we want in a company?...

Christmas in August?...saw some of this today...ah, no...December is perfect for it...and is all part of the year...

Man, it has been awhile...but Cosmo got it's things corrected on it...way cool, as the new rig, had some quirks that needed to be mended...part of the guarantee of the biz...of course, Marsh was behind the follow up...we pick it up today and take it to storage...awaiting our next venture...probably at the end of September...

Not all Fox News dudes are held in high esteem by Donny...of course, he will Tweet who it is...one, is the noon bloke, Shepard Smith...who has the audacity to say what he really thinks, not what Trump does...on the other hand, one of his dudes in his hip pocket, Tucker Carlson, is taking an early leave of absence...for commenting that in his view, 'there are no White Supremacists'...

ICE was in action yesterday...a raid of over 600 'illegals' in a Mississippi work place...er, plant...what does that tell you?...somebody is not checking papers...who will do their jobs?...ah, see above...

The mighty Padres lost a close one in Seattle...if I can't say something positive, then don't say anything...so ___________________...

HBO has as one of its new series this time around, Hard Knocks...making the team, the Oakland Raiders...it is interesting to see the methods used...imagine cameras in the room when you are talking players...as a coach, one has to be mighty selective in the words used...you'd think...when to they move to their new stadium, still being built in Vegas?...will their name then be, Las Vegas Raiders?...

Here we go again...we were talking to a bloke here at the home...and he was awaiting his shipment of Freshly...what?...we queried...he said it comes as pre cooked meals...and he was hooked...he had tried what we had, the Blue Apron stuff...that he likes to cook, but this product is a doozy...I will not tell you who asked 'does it come frozen?'...

Finally, we are taking part in the party at Del Mar...Turf Club...as Marsh's old working days, are back...well, sort of...her former boss invited us to join it...sure, we will and are...she wears the dress thang, and a fetching hat...me, in a bloody sport coat, and you KNOW I have a lid to don...
