A Monger

Wednesday is my early golf time...so...just some thoughts before I go...you know when you are watching a cooking show...I do...and the chefs make it look so easy...they do...and then they throw this little tidbit at ya...they do...'first of all, you need a fresh piece of fish, trust your fish monger'...well, I think to myself...I do...I'm not trusting a monger...

It's a bad word...ah, it sounds bad...now, a purveyor, I can trust...but a monger?...I don't think so...turns out, you who are strong with the bloody English language...that, indeed, is the correct usage...and name for the dude who tells us, the best and freshest fish he has...or, well, she has...

So, when you go into one of them fancy super markets, that has EVERYTHING...and you are looking for the perfect wine for the evening's meal...one should ask the wine monger?...'hey dude, you the monger?'....

I could be the best hamburger monger out in the web net...you want the tastiest and the most bodacious?...I'm your man...I can tell you the ups and downs of any in San Diego...in a hurry, well, do this one...want some beef?...get this...sure, on and on...

Imagine, you are on the 'Price is Right'....in front of gazzads of people, throughout the pixel land...and the host asks  'what do you do?'...well, sir, I am a monger...

Much different...stuff...

The Dayton Police gave more chilling accounts of the massacre there...that the killer shot 26 people in 32 seconds, before he was taken down...for you who still think that rapid fire guns should be in the hands of anyone, doesn't that just make you reconsider?...26 people in 32 seconds!!!

The Futures were horrific this am, kids...this may be a record day for losses...who do you blame?...the president monger?...

The mighty Padres are wallowing in the muck...another bad loss, at home...to make matters worse, the SS sensation, Tatis, is down...and out...for awhile...

We all should follow the upheaval in Hong Kong...not sure what we can do about it...but, I get the sense that it's not too long before that city will be in the hands of China...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
