The Debates Nite 1

The setting is in Detroit, Michigan...night one of the Democratic Party debates...we are still at a large number of wannabes...20...that somehow qualified for them...the biggees of this session are Bernie, Elizabeth, and Pete...in my mind, they are long shots...to win the whole thing...but, I will listen and do me own judging...I get all the rhetoric...the key to it all, is who can stand up to Trump and knock him down...can any of these 3?...I doubt it...

Speaking of Trump, he is relentless on his attack of the Rep from Baltimore...listen, kids...he thinks he can say and do whatever he wants...doesn't that bother you any?...too many of his base, just let that go on...they are foolish to think that he represents them...totally...he talks for himself...and himself only....

Another mass shooting...the killer bought his rapid fire gun, 3 weeks ago in Nevada...has ties to....well, you know the drill...it has the same makeup as most...it's too easy to get these weapons...the NRA  blames other things...blah blah blah...tell that to the innocent people that got shot...and their families...Congress?...'our thoughts and prayers go out to ____'...as they pad their pockets with NRA lobbyists money...

180*...just saw this commercial...'the lipstick made for the mature woman'...what?...what exactly is a mature woman?...like in age?...or stature?...seems a bit sexist, don't you think?...can you imagine, a lady (mature?) walking into Macy's...and asking 'do you have the lipstick that is made just for moi?'...the sales person looks her up and down, and replies 'you are not a mature woman'...'we have others for your type'...

You must know of the couple of the decade...ah, maybe of the last 2 years...in the rich and famous crowd, anyhoo...ARod and JLo...right?...Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez...of course you do...well now...for her big extravaganza birthday the past week or so...ARod had the very difficult task of giving her a present...for somebody who already has everything she wants...ah ha, the bloke came up with it...taking the hint from the KFam...who does this trick all the time...as they say on 'The Price Is Right', here is a brand NEW CAR!...turns out, that JLo hasn't driven one in over 20 years...you heard me right...so, now, the bloke is teaching her how to drive...just sweet...

At what point in time, do YOU lose part of your 20-20 vision?...like in your 40's they say...they?...doctors of optometry...but, YOU are too vain to wear them 4 eyes thangs...and YOU don't want someone cutting on your eyeballs...so YOU go without...how many people do YOU know that do that?...maybe that's why YOU haven't driven in 20 years...ha ha...

The mighty Padres have found some team they can whup...well, at least for one game...the aforementioned Baltimore...got 'em 8-1, as SD bopped five home runs in the process....just for clarity and past history sakes...a truth from my baseball past...my first team that I played on, that I can remember, that actually had a name...was the 'River Rats'...true fact...I was indeed one...and my claim to fame?...I pitched once...hit 3 straight batters...you see, I didn't know that MY vision wasn't 20-20....

OK, I exaggerated that a little...truth be told, I hit 2 straight and the third guy, I threw the ball behind him...missed...furthermore, the team was disbanded after 3 games...my teammates quit showing up...this, is a TRUE story...the river rats were dead...

I have been skirting this issue about...the trade deadline looms for MLB...as the mighty Padres have had their name in a lot of the possibles...well now, there is this dude from the Cleveland Indians (yup, they still call them that) who has been mentioned loads, P Trevor Bauer...who showed the baseball world what he is all about the other day...had a rough outing in a game...as the Mgr was coming out to yank him from the field, the dude took a baseball and threw it out of the ballpark in CF...he...threw...it...out...yea, that's the guy you want to trade for...

He said he was sorry, and wouldn't do it again...

We have been getting loads of listings from Bend, Oregon...man, they are very enticing...one can get a lot for your money there...are we closer to listing our condo?...still awaiting an uptick...might it be this summer?...fingers crossed...

The Bachelorette...geez, Hannah B...enough already...TMI...I kind of get the drift, that nobody is going to work out...weird, I say...

You want info on uncontrolled violence in our OWN country?....Chicago's numbers for this past weekend...48 people were shot, and 8 were fatally injured....this according to the Chicago Sun-Times...

Seems like I am ending up on a downer...sorry, kids...but the Futures were way DOWN...

Alrighty then, I got it...to make YOUR day a bit happier...a direct quote from the bellower himself, Trump..."I am the least racist person there is anywhere in the world."

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
