Peace and Love

Happy Sunday, kids...let's hope that the day unfurls in a great way...a little bit more to clean up after the Vinyl Party, Part Deux...when ever you host, the timing on the food can be a tad bit hectic...but, over all, it all worked...the perfect amount of guests helps, too...I laughed when I read a comment that now that the Doobies are legal, NOBODY was a toking...Peace and Love...

Not so loving was the latest debacle by Trump...in his personal war with Rep Cummings of Baltimore, Maryland...he blurted out more crap...insulting stuff that makes the great people of that city...INFURIATED!...another line of non-presidential Tweets...calling Baltimore rat infested, amongst other things...that Cummings should clean his city up...and on and on...listen, Trump feels like he can do and say whatever he wants...he is the President...

And NOBODY can do anything about it...that is what he says...of course, there are a myriad of rebuttals coming forth...directed right at the eyeballs of the bloke...I can and will not call him the President...he has the office, but his path to getting there was deliberately affected by the Russians...how much, you ask?...

I suppose the best line that I have read...'it is better to have rats, than be one'...just is an example of the groundswell of negativity that is erupting...EVERYWHERE!...even, if he doesn't get impeached, his arrogance and mouth will turn the tide on his re-election...just keep talking and Tweeting, Donny...

I could be wrong on this...but, the insult by Trump of a black community, just may be the impetus for country wide reactions...not sure, I don't fear...this...'Summer in the City'...ah, the Lovin' Spoonful...keep a watchful eye on this...I am...thus far, there are enormous amounts of comments directed at Trump...stay tuned...

So much for Peace and Love...

Over at Petco Park...the mighty Padres got game number 2 versus them Giants of SF...beisbol is such a funny game of streaks...and misses...think about it...to be a very good hitter, you must bat at least .300....which means you get hits 30% of the time...thinking negatively, that means 70% of the time you are an OUT!...anyhoo, not to be outdone by that stat, the 20 yr old SS we have, Fernando Tatis, Jr...led us to the win...hit a dinger and was mahvelous in the field...20?...wowser...

I think I'll stop for today...just listen to the American public speak their collective minds...might there be a similar combustible fallout, as what just occurred in Puerto Rico?....hmmm...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
