South Carolina Steps Up

And now there are 24...candy peops for the Democratic presidency...(P?)...ah, not sure about the cap or not...most will be in the great state of South Carolina...to debate and show their wares...can they be the one that steps up and challenges Trump?...if, that is, he survives the rest of his term...let's go at this from the other angle...the legitimacy of the need for change...that, the Repubs will not do...maybe...I keep telling ya that the powerful Koch Bros will NOT endorse Donny...

The leaders are Biden, Bernie, Eliz Warren, Kamala, and Pete...and if, they continue as such, the orange clown will give them nicknames for his base to refer to them...as the debates emerge, so will the numbers that are so needed to raise the cash to further their goal as the President...at least, for the Demo side...got it?...lookie here, Beto has surpassed Pete as number 5...hmmm...

The items that they will endorse are what most Democrats shoot for...every time there is an election...you know them...BUT...the next candy man or woman, MUST have CHARISMA...to lead us out of the hole that DJT has got our country in... the distrust of our FORMER allies that we have had since the last great war, has grown stronger...my hope is that they recognize that it is the isolated leader we have in power...and that they are awaiting for the USA to correct itself...hang on for another year and a half...

This Iran scare is more than we think...as I said yesterday, the notion that Trump can pull the trigger at his whim...TERRIFIES me...his disregard for what we have done with Iran in the past, has been pushed aside by HIS ways of dealing with countries....increasing tariffs...which he can do without the endorsement of Congress...I keep thinking back to days, not long ago...that we were deemed the 'UGLY AMERICANS' in some countries...is this not the notion now?...it should be, THE 'ugly American'...

Well, I am going to be a watching the show in Carolina...going in with the idea that my mind is open...and who best to take down Trump...stand toe to toe with him, and knock him off his perch...it is necessary for the well being of our nation...a NECESSITY!...

There were sounds going on all over the GQ last eve...over at the Symphony on the Bay, and...which I did not know about until I read Facebook posts...Paul McCartney was at Petco!...we actually debated at the last minute going over...but, really, are still recouping from the 22 day trip...anyhoo, it was a nice nite...warm...and get this...slept over 10 hours...a record lately...

The mighty (?) Padres are doing their streak thang now...losers of 2 straight in Pitt...as the bats are eerily silent ...what a fickle game that beisbol...at least for us, as them Bums of LALA, have no problems hitting it...they are running away with the west...boo...

I must say, that getting back to my norm....reading my 24 sources...debating as to what to write about...then doing so...is mighty cathartic...just have to find a way to do this when on the road...which we will do often...oh yea, and to hit the links tomorrow...all is a fine YOWSER...

Top it all off with a collaboration with them Mackles this late afternoon...some bubbly, conversation, and grub...it is a good Sunday...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
