Da Tour
Hi everybody!...and happy father's day to all of you pappies...and especially to you NEW daddies....life is precious...we are presently in dock on the northern Cali coast...in the redwood forest...really...pictured here is at our camp site...cool, huh...never seen such huge trunks on trees...awesome...apparently, I can't download the pix...grrr...
Da trip has been terrific...meeting up with so many friends has been memorable...such warm hospitality in some great parts of the state of Oregon....Eugene, Salem, and Bend...there was not enough time to see everyone...and everything...but, what we did, was super...how many adjectives have I used thus far?...
If all stays the way we have it mapped, it will be a 21 day Tour...Cosmo?...bodacious!...getting about 14.5 mpg on regular gas...which brings me to the various cost of a gallon of it...varies from $3.09 to $4.09...more in Cali...must be due to more taxation...my guess...
Sammi, has been a wondrous travel dawg...she lurves the freedom of the many backyards, and the camp grounds...much diff from the condo life style she knows so well...
A venture to a Fred Meyer, eating some great food from our hosts, a journey to Lincoln City, scoring some cool wines at Cristom on our wine Tour, lightning and thunder while golfing, and drifting down the Deschutes...just a snippet of what we have done...add the meeting up with friends reminiscing...priceless...
Which brings us to this...have always said that things happen for a reason...the falling apart of the condo sale, that lead to the closure of the desert deal...has opened our eyes to other ideas...and this EMERGED!...we are smitten with Bend...soooo...we are looking at property back in Orygun...central Ore...
OK, off we go...continuing the trek...miss you all...
