Maybe, just maybe, the varsity was indeed, last eve...as the Demos fought it out for recognition for a spot on the ticket for Prez in 2020...4 of the early leaders were there in Miami...Biden, Bernie, Kamala, and Mayor Pete...like nobody wants to tackle his last name...and there were 6 others, itching to climb the polls...same inept moderators as the night before...the stage was set...

What happened could not be scripted...out of the pack, emerged a clear winner of the debate...cool, calm, with a very presidential mannerism, that SHE has in her system...Kamala Harris stood out...I can see the Repubs a scrambling right now...dig up as much as they can on her...Trump has to find a nickname for the newby...there must be skeletons...

No, she was not alone as a positive...Mayor Pete, had his moments...pushing the idea of youth in the party...Bernie, too, was solid...if not, repetitive in his ideas, that he had 4 years ago...the one that faltered, was the early on poll leader, VP Joe Biden...who stumbled about, didn't finish his answers...looked for relief from the 45 second rule....

Of course, kids, this is real early...things change...polls flicker on and off...yet, one thing that is a certainty...you have to have money to run for the office...so, as the reality of it all sets in, the people that are out of the elite, must drop out...anyhoo...if this interests you...who will represent YOUR party for the 2020 election...then please, please, pay close attention to it...or, just keep reading the Horse and I'll give you a running story line...

You a soccer fan?...the USA ladies play France today...ah, yea, in France...home field advantage...so far, the crowds have been marginal at best...lets hope more show up today...USA!...

This Sunday is the release date for the moveable NBA players...the guys good enough, to shop themselves to whatever team that THEY want...the franchises that are in the best position to gain, are the Lakers, Clippers, Knicks, Nets, and the Celtics...you see Portland listed?...ha ha, never...I think that a keen eye must be kept on LeBron's Lake Show...

Trump just tweeted that the stock market gains are all him...if Hillary had won, they would have crashed...thank you Donny...

My 24 sources have had a field day on the outcome of last nite's debate...and I mean NOWHERE was there a mention of the prior day's apparent winner, Eliz Warner...interesting...what have you done for me lately?...

The MLB All Stars starters were announced...alas, not a one Padre made the cut...again...as the reserves will be selected, SD gets at least ONE...figure it will probably be the closer, Kirby Yates...

I will leave you with this...the question that was posed for the candy peops last eve...what one thing would YOU do to correct what Trump has done?...get back into NATO...which was the response by those solid candidates, so says the Horse...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
