Telling Times

Morning, kids...and you die hard Rip City fans...too much talent on the other side, them Warriors...right?...ah, wait...three of their best, were OUT with injuries...KD, Cousins, and Iggy...yet, still, a losing sweep...in the last 3 games, squandered big leads...you KNOW my thinking...as I have said this for at least 4 years...maybe longer...the defensive scheme that HC Stotts uses, is flawed...yes, it is time to change direction...

On the way, the Golden St Warriors to another chance for a championship...which I did not think was possible this year...this is an issue...KD and Curry on the floor at the same time...not enough basketballs...weird...

Sports...mas...the mighty Padres got one last eve...2-1 over the DBacks in the first game of the set...woah...the Sheriff was on...and Reyes hit a dinger...and the RP did their thang...

Disturbing, if true...that ICE has over 52,000 in custody...right now...what on earth?...are these numbers correct?...this just can't be...where are the human rights?...and, where are these people being held?...

I said yesterday, that the word 'Impeachment' is being used more and more...Nancy Pelosi has said that she is getting pressure from an increasing amount of Demos to get it started...couple that with Trump blocking the subpoenas for his brigade of workers, both former and present...egads...what is the name for this?...we had Watergate for Nixon, what will this one be?...

For you Housewives of wherever watchers...how many, er, what percentage of the ladies (?) are actually currently married?...and, are really housewives?...has to be less than 25%...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
