The GOOD and the BAD

Hey all...back from the first trip in Cosmo...must say it handles extremely well on the road, er, highway...well, freeway, whatever...pavement...gets 14 miles to the gallon of petrol...I think that is good...it uses that, in lieu of those engines that are diesel...OK, then...

The trip was two fold...to test out the rig and the other...to see the kids and the Lil General...all are doing great and it was special for Marsh to be with the grandchild on Mother's Day...had a splendid time....as we hurried back to deal with the sale of the condo...

Had the inspection done today, while we were on the road...some minor things that have to be corrected, but...it sure appears to be a go...man, what a process...so our days appear to be numbered...will see how the contingencies finish up...

It's hard to watch the debacle in DC...with Trump muddling up the connection with China...his way of dealing with people...I must say, ALL PEOPLE, is just another example of his inability to handle the job he 'won'...the brandishing of increased tariffs on them, may sound good...but, the reality is, we have a strong working partnership with that country...

Trump had the audacity to say that maybe these people and companies start 'making their products' in the USA...humorous, as even his own daughter, Ivanka, has her line of stuff, 'Made in China'...maybe he was talking about her, in his own way of...well, fuggit about it...his way of talk is unbelievable...

As the past 4 working days have unfolded...massive negative hits to the stock market have occurred...-617 Dow...-269 NASDAQ...just today...yes, kids, the DOW plunged...it is directly due to the Trump mismanagement of the trade 'war' with China...what would YOU call it?...

Hey, how about them Blazers!...I am amazed...as they went into Colorado and UPSET the Nuggets...and captured the series...this is even more surprising, as the star of PDX, Dame...had a very poor set of games...but the rest of the crew, especially McCollum, stepped up...now, they take on the champs, the Warriors...hmmm, both my teams...yes, I will watch these games...oh yea, I did not talk about the Warriors doing the same to the Beard and his whiskers...who did what they seemingly, always do...under perform...oh yea, I hate the style of play of Houston...so am tickled with the win...

Our stay in Santa Barbara...such a unique and beautiful city...full of rich tradition...I call it, 'yuppy' everywhere...and we really enjoy our time there...who wouldn't?...well, we had ONE station on the tele...ABC...so we got to see the Idol final 5...my take, is that the best one...was eliminated at 6...but, the last 3...are all very average...sorry, kids, but it's true...

The Lakers finally found their coach...former Indy Pacer HC, Frank Vogel...with Jason Kidd as his main asst...did they run this by LeBron?...ha ha...Jimmy Crack Corn...

The passing of a couple of stars...Doris Day...movie and singer...a fav of mine...I even have her Xmas CD...it's a beaut...and one of the stars of the Mod Squad...Peggy Lipton...she was considered one of the it gals of her time...ah, that's my time...so sad...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
