And the American Idol Winner Is

We gots rain down here in SoCal...say what?...listen, it has been purnt near 3 months of like, ah, real weather...nothing like this for the duration of our time in San Diego...nuttin...every single year has been moderate, mostly sunny, for the most part, rain free, and simply mahveous...until now...is this the new pattern?...or an anomaly?...I know, calm down Horse...it's not terrible, but, just not the acclimated norm...

The 3 hour finale of American Idol was a beaut...really...many singers, like stars, did their thang, as well as the contestants...did duets wih the established dudes and gals...Carrie was there (no duet, tho)...she is fab...Adam Lambert, did a Queen...terrific...the best of the nite?...Katy Perry's duet with Jeremiah...how he didn't win the show, is beyond moi...easily the best sanger of the season...the bloody fan vote...oh yea, the bloke from the Bayou won...as he should have, in the pack of 3 left over...Laine...likable and marketable...we'll see...

He was leaking oil on the back 9, but Brooks Koepka hung on and won his 4th major...DJ closed in on him, to make him sweat a bit...$2 million bucks to win a golf T?...obviously, the sponsors have money to burn...somebody sure has lots of it...now, Brooks has some of it...

The mighty Padres lost another...in their downward spiral...I've often said, that is must be so different in the manager spot on the bench...as to whom he plays, bewilders moi...as in the past, some owners dictate who to play...I guess...but, we have some blokes that should be sitting...duh...in come the DBacks...can we see some lineup changing?...maybe some drops and adds from the minor league?...time for a shakeup...

One more chance...for PDX to get at least ONE win in the Warriors series...in the great PNW...this just could be the last game for the present coach...ah, time to adjust the system...isn't it odd, when the free agents talk about going elsewhere. they NEVER mention Portland as their possible destination...NEVER!...

I make him appear to be a folly...that's just not right...he makes HIMSELF a folly...Donny...in the beginning of his term, I thought that he couldn't do much, as the checks and balances of Congress...would limit his authority...the one thing that I feared...was that he would get us into a war...the bantering back and forth with Iran...posturing...makes me a bit uneasy...you, too?...ah, put him on the front line...

This is an adjust day for the PETERman Tour Bus...a continuance of prepping it....really, really, fun, kids...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
