A Change at the Top

Morning, ya'll!...with that blog title for the day, you might be a wondering...alas, it is in Great Britain...where their Prime Minister, Theresa May, has called it quits...could not handle the Brexit conundrum...as she said 'I did my best'...gosh, I could add a lot and talk similarities, but will withhold anything right now...but that 'did my best' gave me reservations...

Trump, has made it him against her, talking Nancy Pelosi...shattering the social media site...Twitter...with his latest concoction of making her sound drunk, in a very unpresidential way...clipping together video bites of her in the past...he must feel that if he can make her look bad, the PEOPLE will stand up and support him...not sure if he realizes, but she is the one, that is resisting the impeachment process on him...he just may be, unknowingly, forcing her hand the OTHER way...stay tuned to round 3 today...

Marsh has said I may be too biased in my outlook on Trump...that I am watching too much of one side...perhaps...but, it is very hard to get into FOX and the Drudge Report...now THAT is slanted...but a couple of people that I enjoy watching and listening to, Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon...are now targets of Trump...in his tornado path of Tweeting...

Can you imagine coming to work everyday in the White House right now?...how it may be best to keep your distance...unless, you buy into it all...

The finals in the east of the NBA...Toronto has more fire power than the Bucks...will give the Warriors the best test...Kawhi, hobbled, but is a force like no other in that side of the league...how much does the 'Drake effect' help or hinder a team?...listen kids, home court advantage is real...and stuff like that HELPS...oh yea, Milwaukee tried that too, not the same...

Year end best of, and all star team voting...can often be humorous...somehow, KD was not 1st team...what?...as neither was Kawhi...but, on the all defensive team, two blokes actually voted for the Beard!...who plays NO D...but, the thang is this...often, in contracts, there are mighty nice monetary incentives to make at least the 3rd team...

Rolling into Toronto, at the same time of the 6th game of the NBA east...the mighty Padres take on the Blue Jays...ah hem, there must be that type of bird in that area, right?...like they have Raptors, there, too....what?...hey, it is an American League homer...so, the DH is used...and the Pads have brought up a hard hitting minor leaguer to fit into that spot...figure Wil won't fit...ha ha...

Watched the replay of the 'live' current version of 'All in the Family' and 'The Jeffersons'...it was made from an actual script of way back when...it was terrific!...you must find it and watch it yourself...wonder why the networks don't do this more often...especially great, was Marisa Tomei, as Edith Bunker...

The Futures were UP this morning...because of?...every day is a new day...which I just don't get...but, aren't the Futures a great precursor for the market?...yup...

Getting ready for 'the trip'...the Horse got his mane trimmed...we fit in some gel mattresses in our beds...picked up our 17" cooking slab...uses propane...now, so close to being ready...have all of our reservations confirmed...now, have to get rid of this bloody cold...

How much of this is real?...grumblings about the ratings of 'The Tonight Show'...Jimmy Fallon's version...really?...to be fair and honest...I rarely watch any of the late shows...use to religiously...Carson, Letterman, and some of the time, Leno...
