Mobile Phones

When we are on the road, it becomes more and more apparent, the need for the mobile phone....er, the cell phone...fuggit about the land line, that was once was the epitome of talk...now we communicate much easier than ever before...to the point that it has its distractions...using them too often...like when we are driving a car...or, even, walking across a street...oblivious to what's all around us...

The connection to the computer has its advantages, to boot...I think Apple has it all figured out...the concept of wirelessly connecting all what you have thru their system, is a major plus...not that you can't do so, with a Samsung, or any other...really...about 6 weeks ago, I made mention that China has their own company that rivals what we have...Huawei...that combats those American companies...really, hasn't hit here...yet...

The versatility of the mobile is ever present, when you want to seek out a travel destination...log into one of the maps apps, and not only does it give you the way to go, but warns you of dangers on the way...provides an alternative path to use...how much time it will take, and how much time it will save you...way cool...

The invention of the texting is a marvel...saves so much time to get your info shared...but my oh my, the amount of people that text while driving is a shame....legislature peops have set up stiff fines for doing so...BUT...it taketh me 30 minutes to get out to Singing Hills to golf...and, I would safely (?) say that there are in the neighborhood of 50% of the drivers...who are texting...and, the younger people, that amount grows to more than 3 of 4...an accident waiting to happen...

The cost of the phones is no longer cheap...hardly...expect to pay a Grand for one...the battery life?...a couple of days, I reckon...one must examine just what is needed, prior to purchase...a big deal for moi, is the camera...in them...my pix are really fantastic...yup, I still have the iPhone X...has some other things that I like...facial recognition...is one...to open the bloody thang up...

I may be telling you nothing that you don't already know...but, maybe not...give it a think...

Trump is in SoCal...just landed...hip hip...gonna go to the wall...and, or, the border...as he has decided to not close that...his Repub buddies convinced him otherwise...one more thing, the Mueller Report...is NOT finished...as much as he may think it is...the leaks are there....

Duck gals play Baylor this eve....should be a dandy, and GO DUCKS!...

The desert...we spent a goodly portion pouring thru options for the new house...picking this and that out...kinda fun...however, our condo has to sell...and you know how that goes...at the mercy of some peops who want to live downtown...in a very, very, very NICE place in a high rise...

So we got back around noon...and have to keep the place spic and span...like we aren't here at all...ha ha...

The Pads are on the road...starting in Saint Looey...just saw the starting lineup for us...I can never figure out who plays and who sits, with this manager...two guys that have started fast, Renfroe and Hedges, are sitting...no idear why...whatever...

In LaLa Land...the disgruntled Lakers...blaming anyone but themselves for yet another dismal season...will probably axe their HC Luke Walton...who is in line to get the UCLA job...rumor mill...listen kids, the mistake was bringing in the aging LeBron...it's true...

OK then, I will get back to writing in the am...oh yes, I have to prepare for a golf T in the Bozo World next week...
