Selective Hearing

Morning, kids...how be YOUR weather?...the changes up and down the coastline are truly amazing...from the snowy PNW, to the torrential rain in NoCal, to intermittent showers in LaLa, to the sunny San Diego...wowser...how much does this affect you?...however, we still have some rain in the forecast...in the next week...

After watching ALL of the Cohen interrogation in the House...my thoughts...hmmm, it was not as much questioning as accusations...as the Repubs disregarded what he had brought forth about Trump, but attacked his personal reliability...continually dubbed him a 'liar'...I find that oddly ironic, as they are defending a bloke who has lied more than any person we have ever had in the top office of our country...depending on who is counting, but more than 8,000 LITTLE WHITE LIES...and yet, the RIGHT continues their defense of the guy...in any form possible...I just don't get it...is it their last bastion?...c'mon people, you are protecting a theory, not a reality...he is in it for HIMSELF, not for YOUR party...

The signing of the free agents in MLB...baseball, guys...where the elite garner 10+ years of a contract, worth more than $300 million bucks!...good on 'em...BUT...are you kidding me?...who needs that much dough?...ha ha...don't blame them, but this salary has to come from someone other than the rich cats that own the clubs...but, the ordinary dudes and dudettes who have to pay exorbitant prices for the seats to watch these millionaires play, make that, PLAY the game...

I probably know the answer to this, prior to the asking...but, after our play and lunch (very late) out at Singing Hills yesterday...ah ha, my best round in many years...yes, switched putters...Ping Zing, I digress...we ventured out to the Sycuan casino...BTW, a humongous hotel is near completion there...it is becoming a destination spot...anyhoo, my query is this...the casino itself is split into smoking and non-smoking sections...and, ALL of the gaming tables have been removed from the non-smoking area...what?...does that infer that most of the black jack players are smokers?...

Speaking of lying...the topic for the day, is that Trump ORDERED that his daughter's husband, Jared Kushner, be given security clearance for the White House and its surroundings...ha ha....something like that...well, Donny said he didn't...but the word that has been leaked...ah, no longer leaked...is that he did...off Ivanka went to the airwaves to deny, it too...I believe them...don't you?...of course, you do...

The Futures were WAY UP this morning, so expect a dandy day in the Market...
