Feeling Groovy

Morning, kats...it's already the weekend...what you have planned?...this weather around the country makes moving about real hard, huh...cold most spots, including down here in SoCal...without a doubt, the coolest we have had since relocating...here's the thing, we KNOW it will warm up real soon...of course, I have been saying that for a couple of weeks now...ha ha...

The acting AG of our USA was in front of a Congressional Comm...yesterday...and taking queries into his job...subpoenaed?...I think so...Matthew Whitaker...he could not have been more belligerent...which makes me wonder how much he knows, is hiding, and is shielding Trump from any shenanigans...well, HIS shenanigans...Trump's...gosh, I could have said that better...but, you get it, right?...

The Grammy's are this weekend...and a gal is going to be honored and have her songs sung blue...oops, that's a Neil one, my pardon...she's having others do THEIR versions of HERS!...Dolly Parton...'Here You Come Again', was my fav, and was probably the only one that was in the pop genre...most of hers, are in the country field...well deserved...honor...she added this...'watching the show, was like watching porn...you're not personally involved, but you get off watching it'...ah, yes, that is Dolly...her quote, not mine...

Looks like the Horse is all over the place...today...and again....sorry...but, the NBA is now up and running with all these teams adjusting to their new clientele...that they bought, sold, or traded for...one that stayed the same, is the one on the top...the Golden St Warriors...and, they too, have an ornery cuss probably playing in his last season there...KD, er, Kevin Durant...listen, guys, and especially KD...you are a hoopster, not a God...be thankful for what you have...which is an exorbitant amount of money to live the rest of your life on, very comfortably...try acting with some class...

I saw an article about one of me old fellow coaching buddies back in Orygun...wallowing about in a non-win season...been there, done that...nothing more frustrating...and the impact of social media...as his team was being bussed back from another loss, across the Cascade Mountains...a couple of his players, rather than mope and become accusatory, brought out a ukulele and sang a song 'Take Me Home, Country Roads'...John Denver, right?...that has turned into their salvation...and a diversion to their hoop frustration...good on them, and the coach, Dean Sanderson...

Watched a documentary on a failed event of the proposed proportions of Woodstock...in the Bahamas...FYRE...sounded too good to be true and it was...the bloke who set it up is now sitting in prison...fraud...seems to me, they should fine the crap out of him, rather than incarcerate...just a couple of years ago was the proposed extravaganza...and I don't ever remember hearing of it...you?...

Me day at the races...was a virtual tie...came back with 50 cents ahead...really...knew I was going to have to struggle, as Mr Pick 5, was eliminated from the FIRST race, as I picked 4 of the 5 horses in me bet...and the one I didn't, won...

The biggest recall in the auto industry...air bags...what?...we have been on a list for a couple of years for that...the air bag company filed bankruptcy and here we sit...with the same old bags...a different company now...but the same old thang...what a racket...

Trump...furious that someone inside his 'trusted' circle of pawns, leaked his personal schedule...and is on a manhunt (or womanhunt) to find the culprit...hmmm, I heard of this act before...in the book by Cliff Sims...is there paranoia rampant in the White House?...duh...

And now, another book about to hit the stands...Barnes & Noble, you ready?...about the Kirshners...uh oh...Jared and Ivanka...the line is that they are bracing themselves for the revelations...the author is Vicky Ward...stay tuned...March, I believe...

Figure that today I will sit down and watch some of that T at Pebble Beach...have seen zero minutes thus far...Lefty and Jordan in the mix after 2 days...hmmm...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
