Going to Kansas City

The classic 50's song by Wilbert Harrison...applies to the next opponent for the surging Indianapolis Colts...going to 'Kansas City'...after whupping the Texans, in Texas, off they go to the next destination...count me in, as their line play is awesome...and will be big underdogs to the highly heralded Chiefs...ah, deservedly, too...but, I favor the closers...

Not sure why I don't like the Cowboys...in their win over the punchless Seahawks...hey, I picked both winners yesterday, huh...go figure...that is a miracle...today, we have the other 2 wild card games...the Chargers and their 1,000 LaLa fans, are in Baltimore...and the Philly Eagles in Chicago...wooah, some tuff games to prognosticate...Ravens will win that one...and the latter is truly a tossup...but, staying with who finished hot, I will go with them Eagles...

How 'bout them Blazers...subdued the Beard and got a big W, in the Rose Quarter...with, gulp, like real D...what, Portland?...there are those who say that Harden spent all his energy in Alameda...and was outta gas...whatever...and in Sac Town, the Warriors got a long ranging shooting win there...3 balls from both teams...and, in crunch time, the ball was in Curry's hands, not Durants...smart, Coach Kerr, smart...

Trump...trying everything in his power...to get his moniker on the wall...sent his band of puppets to meet with the Demos...to no avail...as the opponents, know working with the henchmen, means nothing...that the puppeteer, pulls all the strings...thus, there would be no real negotiations...and now, Donny, is hinting...out loud...that he may declare a 'National Security' to get his funding for the Trump Wall...stay tuned to the Horse for the latest...

We took some time off to go to Cedros St for some shopping...this is just west of Del Mar Race Track...unique shops, that are increasing in numbers...Marsh got a couple of sweater types of things...and I got a vintage leather coat...way cool, dude...but the hot item...was that we got tix for the one and only Joan Osborne...at the Belly-up...her hit was the 'what if God was one of us'...remember it?...anyway, it's a unique place to watch a concert...and NO, Snookie, she is not Ozzy's daughter...

Looking at the ads, that dominate the pixels...you, yes YOU, can have the 'employee discount' right now...if you are willing to buy a Chevy Truck...or an Apple Product, too...same deal...how much is that?...makes you want to work for them, right?...hmmm, if you worked for the Government led by Trump, you have NO DISCOUNT, as you are working for free...well, a certain % of the 800,000 folks out here in the vast US of A...are...what a peach, er, IMPEACH!...I digress...

There is no reason whatsoever this morning for the sounds that came thru me Beats...one of them was eerily appropriate, for some, anyway...'Eve of Destruction' by Barry McGuire...here is some background...he was born on the same calendar date as the Horse...October 15, so you KNOW he is special...he was part of one of them hootenanny peops, as he was a member of the New Christy Minstrels...their big hit?...'Green, Green'...had a gig with the NEW Mamas and Papas, in the late 90's...and can still be heard, 'Trippin the 60's'...with one of the Byrds...

Donny is on his way to Camp David to scheme more ways to build his wall... with his crack staff of Jared, Mike, Donny Jr, Eric, and Ivanka...who else is there?...Sarah, gots be in, too...Melania has to stay at the White House, as somebody has to turn off the lights...wait, they are already OFF!...

This can't go unnoticed...the Beavs of OSU beat the Ducks in Eugene...guys hoops...actually kicked their rear...UO will have a poor season...they lost their best player to a foot injury, Bol Bol, and their 2nd guy, is out with a busted jaw...and OSU is healthy...good luck to them...represent...

Finally, I will be watching the Golden Globes...I mean, c'mon...how can you not?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
