Cracklin' Rosie

Get on board...listening to Neil Diamond on me Beats...this morning...and reminiscing about a song, 'Cracklin' Rosie'...that was popular just as I was a graduating from college...and would spend some hours down at the Museum, drinking a glass of Spanada, holding down the pool table as long as I could...showing mastery at eight ball...ha ha...you see, there was but ONE table, so it was a BIG deal...the claw grip...my signature move...yes, kids, that was a long time ago, a very long time ago...

Yes, me days back in Oregon...the bar that I mentioned had a tragic ending to it...as a guy went into it, a few years later and shot it up, and the people in it...eventually, the structure was destroyed...but, in my day, it was one of the THE spots we went to...way, too bad...nevertheless, the memory of it all...

The T out at Torrey...the Farmers...Justin Rose, persevered...you do know, he is the World's number one...and justifiably....Adam Scott chased him...and yup, Tiger, had a nice last round, and finished at -10...and in LaLa, our team of Sheps/Morrison...did just dandy, but doubt if we won...alas, it wasn't cuz we did poorly...we were -11!!!!...terrific day and likewise scoring...the group behind us, had a real golfing dude...probably, the winner...it was fun, and always great to play the game with your son...priceless...BREAKING NEWS!...as the Sheps/Morrison group left after our round, it was until this am, we have heard that, in fact, have WON the T...yet again!...

A sidelight, that I failed to mention in the 1st edition...HE LIVETH!...ah, well, we are talking Jim Morrison...the other members of the golf t, were the Morrisons...father/son, too...and the dad's name is Jim...guess he has gotten many innuendos about this...ha ha...

Depending on how closely you know us, and or, follow our plight...we have been toying with the issue of moving...ha ha...for some time now...actually purchasing a house in Kensington, and then backing off the next day...in the past week, our attention has switched to Maui...an exhaustive search was underway...then, partial reality set in...and we have revised our thoughts to, where the grandson will be raised...in Santa Barbara...now...we are leaning towards an old and charming...home...there....the journey begins...funny how life is...

The futures were substantially DOWN this morning...dang, watch the results...

Not sure if you are on the Trump Train or not...but you probably want to turn away when you see the latest polls out...ripping apart any dream of support for the guy...his numbers are dreadful...

SAGA Awards...good lawdy, how many of these shows are there?...sure appears that they alternate who wins...all jayvee awards until the Oscars are won...right?...I do want to see the 'Green Card'...I think that is the name of it...Green something...

What's this?...Trump turned on the FOX News?...egads, who does he have left?...Rush?...oh, yea, and the Drudge Report...there you go, Trumpsters...that's what you got...anyhoo, he wailed on the FOX duo of Roberts and Turner...worse than 'Fake News?'...ha ha...

'Team of Vipers'...the latest tell all book of this regimes White House inhabitant...just watched his interview of the author by George S from GMA...looks like the real deal...OK, yes I am gonna get it...
