A Total Mess

What else would you call it?...the state of the government...now embroiled in the historic, longest federal shut down EVER!...all this due to the ridiculous threat by Trump...to hold the country HOSTAGE, until he got the funding for his wall...the concept that he said that Mexico would pay for...and who is 'paying' for it in reality?...the USA federal workers, at this point...and by 'paying', I mean the ones who are without PAY until the issue is dropped...or solved...or funded...

I'm telling you nothing that you don't already know, if you have been following it...or me...but, the result of the length of the shut down, has now become A TOTAL MESS!...as Trump searched for other methods...threatening the country even more, with an EMERGENCY...transferring funds from other government sources...to fulfill his needs...

In the interim...the method of rule by Trump has been transparent...as the country has been party to the tantrums and bullying pulpit that he uses...on a regular basis...and who is at the mercy of this?...US and the ones without actual pay, the Fed workers...throw in the Republicans who feel like they must follow the party leader..and here we have, the stalemate...I say this often, but when the Repubs, gather for a dinner or shindig, just HAVE to question their 'leader'...'how long do we have to follow him?'...

And now, whipped cream...as the New York Times, broke a report about the timing of Trump's firing of the FBI Chief, Comey...that those still in the organization, started an investigation into the President...was he a puppet of the Russians?...it broke into the news last nite...and, of course, the morning has been filled with Trump Tweets...essentially lambasting all of the FBI leaders at that time...there has been at no time in the modern history of our US of A, that we have such a blight on our government...and it's leadership...ah, Captain Bligh?...

OK, brace yourself, for what is coming...this guy will get more defensive and scary too...I fear more AGGRESSIVE!...just what does that mean?...I'm not sure...but his mannerisms are cast in his history...be aware, kids, be very aware...

Let's get into the fun part of the weekend...the NFL playoffs...pour yourself a margarita, or pop open an 805, or get silly, and sip on some Barrell Whiskey...and watch the games today...Colts at the Chiefs and the Cowboys at the Rams...want the Horse's take?...here goes...

Could very well be snow in Kansas City...which is mighty good viewing for all of us, right?...so purty if it does happen...and if so, gots to go with Indy...as their line is solid and has been dominant....if it is a clean field, then I'd favor the home team...hedging?...I go with the weather...

America's former team, the Dallas Cowboys, are peaking just right...and the Rams were reeling at the end of the season, which puts this game as a toss up...however, iff the running back (Gurley) from LaLa can and is able to go, then it's the Rams...ah, probably a very wet field...as we have been getting rain...geez, I still say LaLa...

Do NOT bet on what I just gave you...make some nachos, heat up some buffalo chicken wings, and a plate of carrots and celery, with loads of peanut butter near...and you are set...

In the hoops world...nothing but blow outs last eve...I think we are getting separation from the haves and the have nots...as Houston, Golden St, Utah, and Portland all scored at WILL...and won easily...yes, PDX is included...

Megyn Kelly has a $69 million severance pay...well, she got the rest of her salary, and was let loose from NBC...isn't that a lot of dough?...
