Silent Night

Holy Night, not even close...loathsome is a better description...as the pixels aired the meeting with the House Demo Leaders, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, and Trump...oh yea, VP Pence was there, too...disgusting...as we ALL could see the tactics of a 'bullying pulpit' that Donald Trump uses...the pure distaste for the man, is evident by Pelosi and Schumer...as they can't even look at him...while they TRY to get their points across...it's all about him, or the highway...'you don't give me money for my wall, then, I will shut down the government!'...and yes, 'I will take full credit for it'...

Can you imagine working for the bloke?...has to be just hours and hours of personal rants...and you would run out of the White House, seeking some form of alcohol...or something...to calm down your nerves...I didn't think that this form of rule is even allowed anymore...and there it is, at the top of our very own political system...in the US of A...regardless of party affiliation, how can anyone put up with this?...

The VP Pence, sat there, smiling, closing his eyes, and was a very good servant...I guess...did not say a word....apparently, was not asked to, or allowed to...something like that...anyway, the cameras were closed down...the meeting continued...and according to Pelosi and Schumer, nothing changed...the 'bullying pulpit' drug on and on...

Silent Night, Holy Night?...hardly...we are in a state of disrepair...well, until the New Year...

The Shepard Condo is fully electrified...from the cozy comfort of the sofa, we can purnt near turn on and off most everything electrical we'd want...using voice commands...this is our Xmas present to one another...Mackles, get down here and take a trial run of it...

Yesterday there was another shooting and killing...in Paris, France...the killer was a known bloke...with countless aggravated assaults tied to him...how was he on the streets?...somehow, Donny is tying that with building his wall on the southern US border...but the killer, was born and raised in France, Trump...

Let's see, the NBA has some dudes who are now 'experts' on other than hoops...ah, stay in your lane, guys...Kyrie Irving, of the Boston Celtics, and a one year attendee of Duke...has said the earth is flat, not round...and now...Steph Curry, of the Golden St Warriors, and a collegiate at Dayton...put out his doubts that 'we' really set foot on the moon...hmmm, NASA has invited him to Texas to show him otherwise...good luck...

Nope, the Voice is not on my docket...no idea who is who...the fan voting thing has gotten too bizarre for moi...they don't release numbers, and I now have lost interest...you know, Survivor, shows who voted for whom...

Going to end my blog with this gem...Trump says he does not fear being impeached...as the people will be up in arms...right...Donny...well, we will get to see the show first hand, next month...are you squirming?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
