Refocused

Not sure if you have heard of the name, Mary Barra...but you will soon...as the CEO of the fledgling car company of the United States of America, General Motors...she is revamping the line of vehicles that they are going to put up for sale...and doing what many feared...closing up current assembly plants in the US...like 4 of them...to make matters worse, for this Prez, it's on HIS watch...

GONE, will be the Chevy/Cadillac versions of the Malibu and Caddy look alikes, the Buick LeCrosse, and 3 others...thus, the closing of that part of the plants...geez, I didn't even know that they made Buicks anymore...remember the Pontiacs and the Oldsmobiles?...like the wind...

The change came when the foreign car makers built, to be frank, a better, more efficient, rig...to continue to be competitive, the American Made had to be...BETTER!...smaller, tighter, you get the drift...more fuel conscious...there you go...

So Mary Barra, has decided to up the GM game...keep the SUV and pickup lines...still a staple for the company...but reinvent the idea of electrical and Prius type of cars...that people will buy, that are made right here in the grand ol US of A...it's a mighty huge notion...the problem, is in the interim...those who are out of jobs...some say at a 15% rate of layoffs...

Trump is mad...the sites of the closures are in Ohio, Maryland, and Michigan...alas, MSN is reporting that the number is actually SEVEN...and almost 15,000 jobs...CUT!...are you wondering what I am?...will he try to step in and see what he can do about it?...stay tuned...

News out of DC, has that Paul Manafort, has lied over and over to the Mueller Probe...this from the investigators...man, what on earth is going to be in those findings, anyway...how long can they take?...better than a year, huh...as Manafort goes off to prison...weird...

Finally, this...a very unscientific study by the Horse...after using a myriad of different brands of golf balls...ie, variable compressions of the balls...2 piece, 3, 4, and even 5 pieces of covers...so they say....I found very little difference in all of them...of course, one might add, that one should actually hit a ball on a green, for this to be totally accurate...aw crap, buy the cheapies...save yourself a bunch of scratch...
