Black Friday

So how was your Thanksgiving?...did ya'll have family?...we were alone...as the fits of surviving the flu left us so...nevertheless, we did make a turkey feast for two...which is impossible...thus, we have gads of leftovers...listen, your health...is so critical...

Are you taking advantage of Black Friday?...I watched with amazement, as our Mission Valley Best Buy opened it's doors last eve...people had camped out for over a day, anticipating the 'killer deals' that awaited them on Thanksgiving....in fact, it was a huge line...I can recall back in the day, us...waking up prior to dawn, doing the same sort of thang back in Orygun...one of the stores even gave away free coffee and cake donuts...does anyone still eat cake donuts?...I digress...

The web net...this is where one should shop, I reckon...been getting so many ads sent to me via email this past week...countless...anywhere from 20-70% off and no shipping charge...even saw where Amazon is selling present day Apple products, with a discount...imagine...does the Apple Store ever offer one?...I doubt it...well, get out there and seek and destroy them bargains...

I can't make this up...when asked what he is thankful for...Trump responded with...'I am thankful for me, for making such a difference in this country'...yes, you have Donny...throw in the answer to whom he thought should be named person of the year by Time magazine, 'It's gotta be Trump, doesn't it...who else could it be, c'mon'...oh yea, and lastly, queried what grade he would give himself for his work in the White House, 'A+'...ah ha, what say you?...the hits keep right on a coming...

The Hondurans have arrived at the border...in Tijuana...the people there are not happy...what are the Mexican police and armies doing?...clashing with them?...as our troops are awaiting whatever...Trump says that he will close all southern borders, if....IF, is a mighty big IF...will be a very touchy situation for the next week...might say combustible...

The NFL games yesterday were pretty much to script...them Cowboys have risen from the dead, huh...the injuries play such a huge part of that game...such a brutal one...if your team can survive the many aches, breaks, and nagging debilitating parts of football...it could be playing in the post season...Dallas may be one of those...

We are in debate mode...when do we put up our tree?...normally, we are like real fired up to do so...but, this damn sickness has quelled our enthusiasm...knowing, that it will jump start us...hmmm....

College football rivalries...one last eve...for the Egg Bowl...Miss St and Mississippi...just happened on it...and at the end of the 3rd quarter, an out and out brawl...as the Rebs scored  a td...after review of the fighting...they (refs) discovered the play started after time had run out...thus, negating the play...oh my...and today, the Beavs and the Ducks in the Civil War...so, if you are into the line stuff, it has RISEN to 17 1/2...what do them Vegas boyz know?...

The date of yesterday...coupling with Thanksgiving, is the calendar time of when JFK was assassinated...as I have told you before, when we went to Dallas a few years back...and went to Dealy Plaza, the site of it...the massacre...I couldn't believe how small an area it actually is...there is a story out, that Kennedy actually escaped another assassination attempt during the Bay of Pigs...

Did you buy the match between Lefty and Tiger?...right, me neither...Jimmy crack corn...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
