A Beautiful Morning

Ah, yes, it is A BEAUTIFUL MORNING down here in SoCal...as the Horse is taking yet another day of rest from the links, as me playing partners are nursing a series of ailments...just as well, as the bourbon was a flowing a tad bit too much last eve, tooooo....see?...but this am...the sun is out, the sky is relatively clear...right now it is 64*...what's not to lurve?...

Dang, if reality doesn't change my optimism...the numbers of the missing in the Cali fires has risen...dramatically!...now, it is over 1,000 people unaccounted for...as has those who have lost their lives...devastation and devastating...try to imagine starting all over, for those who have survived...some times I cringe at the cost of insurance, but in these times, I understand...

Our CIA has deemed that the Washington Post writer that was in Turkey, like 6 weeks ago (?)...and was killed at the Saudi Embassy...the assassination was orchestrated by the Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman...our allegiance to that country bewilders me...a lot of give and take...but, how can anyone overlook that the bulk of the 9/11 attackers, were Saudi's?...oil, airstrips, CIA bases, I'm sure the list is long...but...

What say you?...Trump is sort of endorsing the idea that Nancy Pelosi (Cali) should be the Majority Leader of the House of Reps...something that he knows?...benefits him?...right there, should throw up a red flag to the voting members...she sure seems confident in the outcome...interesting...

The plight of the Hondurans to seek asylum here in the US of A...has taken a weird turn...some have already made it to the border, in Tijuana...and the locals are physically confronting them...the passage of the border is down to a crawl...just what is to happen next, is of great concern, when the masses arrive...

Last night was a debate filled evening...liquor induced, not always the best vehicle of choosing verbiage...regardless, it was what is was...you see, the Condo needs to increase their own insurance...called the reserves...just in case...of a catastrophe...so...the owners are going to have to pay more...either in a one time assessment, or an increase of the monthly HOA dues...imagine 35 stories of a community...yes, we chose this life style, so don't go there...but in question was why those who have a more expensive condo, should have to pay more in the assessment...I listened (yes I did) and still think this...if you pay more tax, then there you go...should be similar in percentage...

The other item...was why I have had so many hits in the past 2 weeks...regularly in the upwards of 2800 a day...when forever, and I do mean, forever...the number has been at 60-75...might it be a computer glitch?...I dunno...

Let's go...

Outside of the Pac 12, where most games are virtually even...do NOT bet them, kids...the only matchup that has drawn some possibles...is Syracuse and Notre Dame...where them pundits, actually have the Orange winning it...NO!!!!...the Irish are for real...back to the west coasters...the Ducks are favored by 3 1/2 over the visiting Sun Devils...ah, fuggit about it...just watch, don't gamble...

'Alexa, turn on the sound in the living room'...we got one of them thangs that you can talk to, and it does whatever...now, we have to find thangs that can be operated by it...like the lights...oh yea, and the one thing that we would really want, would be for it to handle the Cox Cable...as usual, that system is antiquated...we are in a learning curve...and as my son said, you are old dad, so it will take you longer to figure it out...thanks, son...

The Keurig...sure, the never ending plight of mine to get the easiest, best and hottest cup of Joe...so far, I am digging what we bought...I like having the many options of the cups...and I haven't settled on my fav yet...

I leave you with this...AOL reports that Trump has been sniffing around the notion that his VP Pence...is not being 'faithful'...OMG!...p-a-r-a-n-o-i-a....

The 45 had the Young Rascals with the title of me blog, today...'A Beautiful Morning'...had the flip side with 'Rainy Day'...they were covering both sides of the weather spectrum...
