Back in the Saddle

Hey all, I'm back for awhile...and should have a regular post coming at ya...did you miss me?...of course, you did...I must say that the trip up to the Pacific Northwest was simply awesome...70+ degree days, not a lick of the wet stuff...we even got the trip to the Oregon Coast in the short time we were there...and get this, it was 71* and beautiful...go figure...

The Duck game...the green and yellow ( and black and silver?) are a much different team now...the new staff has prioritized the lines...big, strong, and powerful...gone, is the finesse of the past 3 coaching staffs...couple that with a simply terrific QB...who, by the way, did not have one of his best games, but still found a way to come up with BIG plays...a mark of a great one...the matchup with the Dawgs...after two years of being drubbed by them...giving up 72 and 38 points...turned out to be 2 equal squads...really...missed FG's by each team in the 2nd half, led to an overtime...where UO had a perfect play called...and won it on an outside dive...lawdy, the place was a rocking...for moi?...a great day...

Then Marsh, set up a 'reunion' of sorts for us...to double up with a birthday celebration for the Horse, yes, it is 71, OMG!...I DEMAND a recount...with 2o friends that are still there...at our fav pizza place in the country...Padingtons...it was so cool to talk and see all the people...some, we haven't seen for years...ie, my best man, in our wedding...stayed, ate, talked and drank a bit until they closed us down...all this, after we borrowed our hosts rig for the journey to the OC...a full day, I must add...

Many thanks to our hosts, the Snookis and our dawg sitters, the Mackles...for making our trip doable and a success...the are the best, Jerry, the best...

OK then...

I'm sure Trump has been happy that I haven't written over the weekend, so he can breathe a bit easier...he probably is a bit even happier that his blonde tryst with Stormy, the defamation suit she brought up, was thrown OUT by his court...it is his, right?...

The Washington Post journalist, who has been listed as missing in Turkey...all rumors are that he was killed and dismembered...OMG!...Trump sent Pompeo to Saudi Arabia, to confront the leadership there...it was at their embassy that it happened...what I am hearing this am, is that they will say it was an accidental death...

Elizabeth Warren...for some reason, thinks she has to defend her 'heritage' as being a Native American, er wait, isn't that an Indigenous Person...no longer Indians, but, Indiggys...have I told you how much I HATE this term?...I digress...she is thinking (I guess) that if she proves it, Donny will get off her back...something...alas, who cares?...just a reminder that Trump called her 'Pocahantas'...is there a worst piece of humanity out there, than Donny?...and he is OUR Prez...

Whatever the reason, I do hope their is an uptick in the bloody Stock Market...enough of this down time...the face of our 'new' RV is going up in air...ha ha...well, maybe more of the opposite of a smiley face...

And the world is now happy again...the Princess is preggers...England is abuzz...the word out by my sources (Snooki and moi) is who is da papa?...take one of them tests that Eliz Warren took, for complete clarity...

The death of Paul Allen was announced...such a tragedy...he, the founder of Microsoft and owner of the Portland Trailblazers and the Seattle Seahawks, will be missed for sure...only 65 yrs of age...dang...

The MLB playoffs...whenever the favorite is not winning, the people will be wanting to point fingers...yes, the Bum's C Grandal, is getting the business....a former Padre...maybe, that's why...it's a cruel world, if you fail...

My FF team won again...streaking you might say...scored a whopping 155 points!...sorry, HDCP Andy...the game was over, Fantasy wise...but my QB was trying to win his game in the last minute of the 4th Q last eve...threw a couple of dandy passes along the way...and had this gem, said by the analyst and former Dallas Cowboy, Jason Witten...as the Pack's Rogers "pulled a rabbit out of his head"...say what?...

Can't say much about the mighty Titans of Nashville...but, they lead their division at 3-3...did NOT score this week...and QB Mariota was sacked ELEVEN times...11!!!!...what else is there to say?...ah ha, next week...

My picture at the top of the blog, is that of the D River...the shortest river in the Nation...in Lincoln City...
