You Keep Me Hangin' On

Tonight we head on out to Humphreys for a groovy concert, 'Hippie Fest'...that features 4 groups of the late 60's era...ah ha, the reason for the Horse declaring this HIPPIE WEEK...the lead entry is Vanilla Fudge...

The 4some was formed by the sound of the Young Rascals...influenced by the group...make that THE group the early 60's...the Beatles...in fact, they covered some of the Fab Four songs....well, their big hit was the cover of the one and only Dianna Ross, and her Supremes...'You Keep Me Hangin' On'...some say that this sound was a precursor to the heavy metal phenomena...

Also on the docket is Mitch Ryder, Rick Derringer, and Badfinger...interesting to moi, is that all these blokes who are playing are MY AGE...one more little ditty, the drummer for the Fudge, played for Rod Stewart, too....and was instrumental (well, banged the drums) on the hit 'Don't Ya Think I'm Sexy'...you know, I have never seen Rod in concert...

We are gonna dress the part and Uber there...get there early enough to pre-function at the site...get myself a rad tee...and funk out to the hip sounds of the bands...join us?...

Carrie is preggers...now THIS is not Fake News...so many people seem to be jealous of her...why?...cuz she is so successful?...or handsome?...wait, make that pretty...see, that's why I am not much of a ladies man...duh...like, can you imagine a gal saying, 'yes I am dating the Horse'...I digress...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
