Not sure how one can sugar coat the true, 'demise of the Padres'...if you read the Trib, watch the local pixels, or hear the rant of the ownership themselves...you'd be thinking that the fact that there is promise on the horizon...that the franchise is loaded with blue chippers in the minor leagues...just ready to pop up in the bigs, with all there awesome abilities...ah ha...

Listen, they are in the minors...and we have witnessed a huge gap between that and the Major League...HUGE!...the term given for the youngins, PROSPECTS...to me, is a misnomer...and the club has brought a few up to play with the San Diego team...the results?...moderate success, at best...especially, the pitchers...the BACKBONE to winning in this 'National Pastime'...

Reality is that the San Diego Padres, along with the Miami Marlins, they are the WORST two teams in the National League...again...and again...'keep the faith', is kind of the motto...in 2021, 'we will have a competitive team'...what?...I want to be wrong on this...but since we have been here, 10 seasons +, the product has been dismal...and repetitive...

The Manafort trial begins deliberation today...just an odd court thing...the non witnesses for the defense...man, I even read where he could beat the rap...by not talking...I have no clue on these things...and will wait to see what the verdict may be...I do have a thinking, that it may be quick one...

And the President...has done it again...what powers he can thrust upon us...is to deny accessibility to security clearance...this time it is to the former HEAD OF THE CIA, John Brennan...who had the audacity to speak out against Donny...and Brennan fired back...'the notion that Trump's denial of Russian collusion is HOGWASH!'...

Continuing on...the word is that the CIC will fight the subpoena all the way to the Supreme Court...to not have to be interrogated by the Special Prosecutor Mueller...of course, why wouldn't you speak to the questioner, unless you have something to hide?...

This...with no real remedy on the gun toting abilities of most anyone in the USA...schools are getting ready to recommence...highest on the list of things to prepare for...even higher than the odious state testing crap...is how to deal with an armed intruder into the building...imagine it...

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
