A New Low

Another day, another Tweet...by POTUS...his way of having fireside chats, I suppose...keep the USA up, on all his miracles, that he is accomplishing...of course, I am tongue in cheek...but...last night was his NEW LOW...incredulous...unneeded...unbelieving...why?...as he said that he just had watched an interview by the dumbest person on TV, CNN's Don Lemon...of LeBron James, 'that he made James look smart, which isn't easy to do'...he finished with 'I Like Mike'...no, NO NO, Donny, I think WE ALL know who is the DUMBEST person on television, and it isn't that Don...is there anything that he won't say or do?...his blatant misuse of the pulpit is beyond comprehension...and has sunk to yet another...NEW LOW...

Our amigos, da Maduzas, lent us there DVD of 'Jersey Boys'...we have seen the play in Vegas of it...this flick version was more comprehensive...flat out, a terrific movie...if you haven't got the back story...it is of the musical group, Frank Valli and the Four Seasons...and, to keeping it real, they went to Humphreys to see Frankie last eve...have yet to hear a review...we saw him in the desert last spring...

Los Padres...lost...many opps to win...but didn't...oops...again...is 100 the magic number of losses?...imagine I was debating at least a 71 wins season from Vegas...didn't bet it...at least I got one bet correct...

Oh my, Johnny Football...got his chance last night to lead the CFL's Montreal Alouettes...his first pass?...got picked off...before you could say, 'what is the kickoff time?', they were down 20...and, after throwing FOUR interceptions in the FIRST half, the dude was benched...

What exactly is an alouette?...it's a bird... a lark...there you go...

The USA Today (is this another Fake News, Donny?) has come to the conclusion that Russia did in fact, meddle in our last election...and this...the next step...is not covered...did DJT collude with them?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
