A Military Parade

Top of the morn, to all of you out there...as we end up another very hot, and humid week in SoCal...headlines, usually have the name TRUMP connected, somehow...right?...and most of 'em are started by Donny...in some type of rant during the nite...via a Tweet, or Tweets...does the bloke sleep?...

Well now, the most disgusting of his latest...the cancellation of his much wanted 'Military Parade'...the cost appears to be prohibitive at this time (92 million bucks)...hmmm...is this not the action that most dictators demand?...the viewing of their arsenal?...put off for a year...will Donny still be at the helm?...to view his most wanted celebration of POWER?...

So many condolences yesterday for the 'Queen of Soul'...remembrances of her, in the past...one such, was by President Obama...as she sang at his inauguration...not to be outdone, Donny said some nice things about Aretha Franklin...ending with "you know, she worked for me"...does the guy have any clue?...I think not...

I'm finding this a bit troublesome...the jury in the Manafort Trial, is still deliberating...does the length of their collaboration mean that he has some people thinking he is innocent?...I dunno, seems cut and dried to moi...is it cuz I have trouble TRUSTING people that are in, or have been, in this White House Regime?...the jury redirected 4 Q's back at the Judge...one was what is 'the definition of reasonable doubt'...egads...

You know, my distrust for Donny has NOTHING to do with Republicans at all...not in the least...as I am an Independent...it is for HIM...

OK, let's get outa the political world...

Seems like the NFL is always tinkering with their rules...what constitutes a head shot?...is the latest...or, what is truly a touchdown?...stuff like that...but the one thing that they should do...is cancel all these meaningless pre-season games...after 3 or 4 weeks of practice, you KNOW who fits in with your scheme...you don't need some non-counting games, to figure things out...nope...

The rejuvenated Padres....oops, hit another snag...can't hit a thing...and are wallowing about...again...lost game number one to the D'backs...a team in the hunt for a playoff spot...as we mope around in the basement...this at home...HOME!...our 4th straight home loss...maybe the Trib ought to quit carrying the Pad's news in the sports section, but put the box score in the comics section...I digress...

FOX News did a tribute to Aretha, too...not sure who does the final edit, but they made one glaring mistake...in lieu of her picture, they used Patti LaBelle's...I can't make this stuff up...

Brandt Snedeker...not sure of his spelling...but...the dude shot a real life 59!...joining a group of 9 Pros who have done the feat...that's 11 under par...good lawdy...what a time to show off...right before the Ryder Cup team is chosen...one of the 4 add ons?...let's see, you have Tiger and 3 more...

OK, the Omarosa Tapes...the one released yesterday...had one of the Trump kid's wives...offering Omarosa about the same amount of cash she made IN THE WHITE HOUSE, to silence her...and occasionally do some talks on the good works of Donny...this can be traced to him?...or was the gal doing this all on her own?...right...

The wall is getting harder and harder to sit on...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

O Yeah!

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter...
