I'm Baaaack

And a mighty HELLO to all of you out there in the web net...I'm baaaack from the Vegas trip...the heat, my gawd, the heat...107* or something ridiculous like that...TG for the swimming pool...goes without saying, but I will...say it...there are a lot of people that vacay there...regardless of the temp...unbelievable!...I must tell ya, they are of all ages, nationalities, and gender...the most inhabited night of them all?...Sunday...why?...I dunno...

Our stay at the Mirage was terrific as usual...of course, having a free night helps the cause...still...a great hotel with all the amenities...and just so happened to be next door (sort of) to Caesars, where our concert was...Mariah Carey...more on that a bit later...the swimming pool...humongous and most every lounger taken by noon...really...one of the days, we got there at the opening hour of 8...yup, got FRONT ROW...the other, after noon, and we were lucky to find two in the back...really...but the pool, is simply fantastic and we wallowed about, with our closest 1,000 friends...in it...BTW, if you didn't have NEW designer sunglasses you were officially OUT OF STYLE!...

Always nice to return home, with MORE scratch than you went with...lucky days at 'Let It Ride', will do the trick...hit a little everywhere...not a lot, but didn't lose...however, the winner of the time there...was their steakhouse 'The Heritage'...in the lines of most very nice ones, like Ruth's Chris, Flemings, Mortons, Eddie V's...you get the pix...but...the Filet was even BETTER!...the most tender one, ever...yes, it is a MUST do when there, kids...Marsh had the halibut...and our comments were, the best meal we have had to date...

Mona A Mi Gabi...was another stop...of course, Marsh's fav...met up with our former Gaslamp City Square gal (Annette) and her man friend...non stop talk, if you can imagine...but, just another part of the trip, that did seem to go way too quickly...BTW, that walk was not too comfortable...looks like it is just right there...NOT...sweatin' with the oldies...

Now, Mariah...there were some comments that she was doing some lip-syncing in her show...NO!...not in the one we saw...she was splendid!...looked great, sounded great, and did something I did NOT EXPECT...she bantered with her audience more than ANY artist that we have seen...really...the negative...there were songs that we had no idea what they were...probably a third of what she sang...however, the people around us knew them and sung right along with her....we are officially OUT OF IT!...ha ha...no problem...as we were departing Vegas, via Cabbie...our driver laughed and said, 'who cares if she lip-syncs anyway, they are HER songs!'...

Finally...them cabbies...that is all we road in...a different breed of cat there...locals that have been doing it for years...have stories upon stories...like that now...less than 35% of the income that the casinos make, are from gambling...get that?...and my fav story of them all...one dude was talking about all the famous peeps he has carried about...that the 'famous' wear caps and sunglasses so to not be recognized...but they ALL want to be in the cab...there was this gal, who had her bodyguard stop and get here something at a CVS...she then said to the cabbie, 'you know who I am?'...he replied 'can't say that I do'...she took off here glasses and cap, and said 'how about now?'...he said, 'nope'...disgusted, she pouted...'now that is that, just tell me who you are, anyway'...'I'm Kim Kardashian'...he said to me 'I had never ever heard of her!'...

He called his daughter who was irate at him...google her, she said...yup, that was her...but, he still didn't know her....'oh yea, and she does NEED makeup...'

The Cave has relinquished the soccer team and their coach...awesome rescue...as I feared the worst...listen kids, stay out of caves...

POTUS has put up a moderate conservative for the opening in SCOTUS....I'm OK with this, in case any one asks for me input...Brett Kavanaugh, 53 years young...not sure the Demos feel the way I do...

The inept Padres gave up 20 runs in a game in Zona....TWENTY!...total embarrassment...and the Mgr Green, keeps finding new alibis for the inept play....replace him with Mark McGwire and let's get a different look....can't be any worse...

Prez T made a rally speech in Montana...this from an article in the Washington Post...must be fake news, right Donald?...he laid out 98 'factual claims' that were found to be 76% false, misleading or lacking evidence...ah yes, what credibility do we need to speak?...say anything...you...want...

And it's good to be back...but, what is this humidity stuff we have?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
