Good Vibrations

Morning, kids...yes, around the Q we are bracing for the conventions of conventions...COMIC CON...no doubt, the hugest one of the year for San Diego...as the loads of trucks arrive...semis...construction of billboards to be EVERYWHERE!...ie, sites were the attendees (geeks?) stand in horrific lines to walk thru trailers and the like...egads...we, the commoners, will set up camp at one of the local watering holes...and just watch...as most are dressed up in their finest comic gear...

Pictured here are some of last year's thangs that were about town...ie, one of my pix, that the crack Pinnacle Art Committee, didn't choose...again...snubbed, oh my, I digress...somebody must be 'blackballing' me...what a term...anyway, if you are one of them type, this is THE EVENT that you have been waiting for...

My blog title for the day, refers to something that happened when we were at Pala Casino, watching them Beach Boys...I forgot to write about it, until now...and this...brought tears to me eyes...really...hey, remember the video advertisement of the Native with tears in his eyes, when he sees the amount of waste, left on the land?...well, it has some similarities...just as the Boys were about to start the concert...to my right, an elder lady (be careful, Horse) was wheeled in, in her wheel chair...the music started..."Let's Go Surfin'"...she arose...gray hair a bobbing up and down...and bee bopped the ENTIRE show...for a couple of hours, she had no pain...as she went back into time, and got lost in the 60's...definitely, "Good Vibrations"...

Tonight, we head on out to Humphreys...for a concert that features that era, yet again...the last time we saw the "Happy Together Tour"...we sat by Bill Walton...BTW, it has happened a couple of times...it's a show featuring the Turtles, Mark Lindsey, Gary Puckett, One Dog Night, and others...whomever is still with us, sanging their hits...it is a blast...

I asked if you knew where the heck Stormy Daniels was...ah ha...she got fingered...oops, wrong terminology...got set up by the Ohio Cops...what do you call it, 'stake out?'...something like that...anyhoo, she was arrested for 'improper touching'...to (or by?) a female undercover police woman...who was at ringside pushing dollar bills at Stormy...allegedly...found her...is it just me, or aren't there more important bad people out there that need to be 'staked out' than her?...

POTUS...of course I was gonna go there...ha ha...is making waves with the NATO leaders...after his dressing down of the German leader, he now proclaims, that she is coming around...and will do what he wants her to...I can't imagine in this whole wide world, that he is taken seriously by them, or anyone else there...sorry, Repubs, but that's what I feel...ah hem, just ask former Sec of State, John Kerry....

I'm going to get out of this...but not without this thought...I saw a list of 15 top Demos that may try to take down Trump in 2020...ie, Oprah, at number 15...the number 1?...Bernie Sanders...but, I have one to add...recall I listed the idea of an 18 year old draft?...well, the Demos just may have to 'draft' this candidate into action...a person who speaks well...that would stand up to the likes of the bullying pulpit of Trump...has charisma...knows the office of the Presidency real well...and has a proper way of orchestrating people...Michelle Obama...think about it...

Going to end with them frustrating Padres...I know, why do I beat myself up on this?...Dr Cris tells me to quit watching them...mistakes galore in the 3rd inning...like, LL stuff...and for all the 'talk' about 'swinging at strikes' crap...they were a swanging at EVERYTHING!!!...striking out like...well, let's just say, it is like watching Daffy Duck...so frustrating...and another L...to make matters worse, guess who is rolling into town?...Da Cubbies, to feast on the Friars...

Thursday already?...what, were we on vacay?...right...

The Beach Boys were the first concert I ever went to, age 13. Never forget those harmonies. The opening act was Sonny & Cleo singing "I got you babe" guess who that was? PJ :-)
