Wednesday What the ?

As we peer into the end of...gulp...June...where did it go?...we also may be getting a glimpse of what is emerging out of the opposition party, the Democrats...it's a small sample size, albeit...yet maybe, EXTREMELY noteworthy...as the Mid Term Elections are upon us...no bigger eye opening shocker than out of New York...in the race for the House, a 28 year old self called 'socialist', Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, beat the 10 term incumbent, Joseph Crowley...who many thought that had a chance for being the leader of the Demos in Congress...

My fear is that there is a lack of leadership in the Democrats...that the DNC has NO TEETH...so to speak...and the gap is widening with the Trump regime, and the Republicans, I guess...he is one of them, right?...gulp, and it appears, that if those running are endorsed by him, THEY WIN!...the easy synopsis is, that the right has got their stuff together...and are rambling on and on and on...

However, look a bit deeper...the gal who won, Ms Ocasio-Cortez, was a worker in the last Bernie Sanders campaign...which was sabotaged from the top of the party, by the infernal 'Super Delegate System'...and maybe, just maybe, this result is part of a new beginning...that there is reform within the Democrats...it's so early, but there may be promise...

Another shocker to talk about...the Padres WIN!...the big guys came thru...finally...in the 8th inning...3 consecutive hits by Hosmer-Myers-Renfroe...got the lead...and then the closer, Hand, hung on...not easily, I might add...but did...hey, we are getting really good starting pitching (go figure)...one thing about beisbol, one can't dwell much on the win or loss, as there is another game the NEXT day...

College World Series...the Beavs of Oregon St did work their way in...are playing the Razorbacks of Arkansas...BTW, how did Arkansas get it's name?...I mean, we have Kansas...then just added an Ar to that?...or did Arkansas come first, and we dropped the Ar?...you know 'we' could have named Loosiana, Lokansas, to keep the pattern going...get back to baseball, Horse...

Playing before a hostile crowd, so it seems...well, the announcers said it was 85% red, and thus, Arkansas flavored...the red turned to an ugly blue...as the Beavs were nursing a 1-0 lead...had runners on the corners...and all Hell broke loose...a grounder to 1B, that the Razorbacks tried to turn 2...interference was called at 2nd...the ump (blew it)...handed red a DP and made the runner from 3rd go back...UGLY...no review...OSU loses...

More bad blue...as a line shot by the Beavs later on...behind 4-1 now...with a runner on first...hit the line and was caroming out of control...the ump, staring at it from 15 feet called 'foul'....the only thing foul was he...this was reviewed...overturned...but the runners were at 1st and 3rd...the 'safest' way to replace them...OSU loses...this from a Duck fan, mind you...

One of my new faves in the country music world, Morgan Myles...just got her new video released at CMT...that station...a major step for her...check it out, it is fun...and catchy...'Acapella'...

SONOS, the clear cut winner when it comes to the sound bar for your TV setup...has come up with another choice for ya...the Beam...2 feet by 3 inches tall...do a few connections and you got your 5.1 Dolby Surround...they are innovative...I've always wondered this, why don't the TV themselves, upgrade their sound system that is built in?...and make the add ons, unnecessary?...charge for it, and they would get it...

A judge did a ruling on the 'separation of family' fiasco...that the Trump regime has 14 days to reunite the displaced kids and their parents...then, in DJT's own words, 'get them out of our country'...such a warm and passionate human being...

Finally, your Supreme Court voted 5-4 to limit the moneys that UNIONS can ask for, of workers who are NOT in the Union...collective bargaining...wait, we have 9 judges again?...whatever happened to the guy, that Obama tried to get in?...they didn't even vote on him, right?...the Horse is so confused...

I think I now GET why they call it June Gloom...
