The Deciding Vote

As we meander about our daily lives, wondering just what NEXT is gonna happen...that is about to affect what we say, do, and or think...we get this notice from SCOTUS (Supreme Court of the US)...one of it's nine is set to retire...Justice Anthony Kennedy...NO!...say it isn't so, Tony!...not now...with a Republican Prez at the helm...a conservative will be put up to replace him...

As I led with me blog title for the day, whoever is chosen will be...The Deciding Vote...a trip back into the 50's we are a going...maybe...two major points of interest are: abortion and same sex anything...life as we know it today, may change again...to an evangelical mode of living...set forth by laws of the land that will be sent down by the Court...scary stuff?...you betcha...

Outcries of the Democrats fear the worst...a 'Right Wing Civil Court' is the hot topic...but, the Horse sees a silver lining in it...there has been a severe lack of leadership in the Demo Party, every since Hillary blew the election...well, and the leaders of the DNC...that this will bond the liberals to work in unison to combat, what will probably be the inevitable...the key is, that the Democrats will have to REGROUP and find the leadership so badly needed...an easy task?...hardly, but reformation isn't...

The abyss is growing, my friends...I have told too many this already, that I worry about the summer...in the city (Lovin' Spoonful)...well, make that cities...marches, gatherings, protests...combustibility, if things continue to polarize...

You know we live and learn everyday...unfortunately, way too often about poli-tic tic tic-s....that a reference was made to POTUS and his way of governing...methodology, if you will...and I came across a writer who named Trump's style as Kleptocracy ...wooah, the meaning is based on one who leads, with using their power to exploit people and natural resources for their OWN wealth...and establish chiefly status...listen, these are not my words...but the inference is their for the taking...I had NEVER, EVER heard of this term, prior to now...

I actually saw an article, too....that had 'Clinton's emails' as a major topic...get over it, dudes, and move on...she lost...find some other ways to waste your time...

Just around the corner, cometh the 4th of July...the country's celebratory day, right?...down here in SoCal, with the vegetation so brittle...the only fireworks are okayed over water...not even a sparkler...doesn't take much to start a catastrophic fire...so we, gather at a higher floor and watch the stuff over the bay...even though, we have it purnt near all year round...really...just not as long...

Have to head on over to the NBA...as we are approaching a deadline for player movement...this Friday...there are 3 that are considered 'hot commodities'...where they are heading, if so...are they going to band together and form a super team to take on the Warriors?...Q's, my friends...and the Horse has the answers...ha ha...well, I have the predictions...No 1, the first domino, Paul George, has opted out of OKC...expect him to sign with the LaLa Lakers...No 2, the 2nd domino, Kawhi Leonard, will be traded from the Spurs, for most of the Lakers (3 youngins and 2 draft picks)...No 3 domino, LeBron James, will THEN sign on to the same team...the Lake Show...and yup, now you have a TEAM to take on Golden St...

We have the good fortune to host my former coaching buddy, and his wife for a couple of nights...Greg and Val Nolz...coached together back in Salem, Orygun...and, we were catching the latter part of the Beaver beisbol game in the CWS at a bar...wouldn't you know a misplayed foul pop by the Razorbacks, would allow the OSU hitter one more chance to get the tying hit...with 2 outs mind you...he did...then, the Beavs hit a 2 run dinger for the win...we made lots of noise, when it happened...as did others....the final game is today...my only beef?...these games are laboriously long...Go Beavs!...

And now...drum roll please...for your smut moment of the day...there is a former Scientoligist...this is a religion?...who is naming names...who did what to whom...and why...it's juicy...that is if you like crap on Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and Kirstie Alley...amongst others...don't you have to have a God before it is considered a religion?...anything to hide, er, put your money away from the government...right?...

You want a poll?...I mean we had one EVERY day when the last election was a happening...Rasmussen Reports...yea them...says that almost a third of the Nation thinks there is going to be another...CIVIL WAR, in the next 5 years...what?....this is in AOL...another thing, that I haven't seen before today...more about the abyss...

Finally...this is the dream of Boeing...a plane that they are creating...that will fly from NYC to London in TWO HOURS!...at like 90,000 feet...I guess to help prove to Kyrie Irving (NBA star via the intellectual college of Duke) that the Earth is indeed round...he proclaimed it flat...I can't make this stuff up...
