The Beach Boys

The title of the blog today, should bring smiles to ya'll...there is no better, good time music, than that of the Beach Boys...we are traveling up to Pala for their show tonight...this has to be like the 12th or more...times we have been at one of their concerts...they are always, 'Fun Fun Fun'...

Last year we sat by the one and only Bill Walton, that they kept their eyes on...I think they pre-functioned together...listen, it was a blast from the first song on!...others, have been featuring different guest types, playing with them...John Stamos, often does...

There has been quite a change in their makeup over the years...50+ will make you do that, if you are still touring...the real high voice songs, like 'Surfer Girl' and 'Don't Worry Baby', to mention but a few...are now sung by Jeffrey Foskett...Mike Love still wails his stuff, the car songs, and what he always has done...his daughter does some, too...Bruce Johnston is alive, well, and kicks the 'Disney Girls'...that sounds a bit odd...

We did see the 50th Anniversary Tour...of theirs...that had Brian Wilson, Alan Jardine, David Marks, Johnston and Love...those who are still with us...Carl and Dennis Wilson have passed on...this show was like 3 or 4 years ago...and a memory I will always treasure...

Now, it is the Mike Love and Bruce Johnston version of them...it rocks...it rolls...and it is all worth the scratch to hear, LIVE...my two favorite songs of theirs...'Wouldn't It Be Nice' and 'God Only Knows'...

I told ya to bet on the rebound of both the Stock Market and the Padres...as their losing streak was matched up...and YES...the Market did their bit, as did the oft-maligned Padres...who won, despite some bizarre, foolish, and un-big league base running...the pitching remains solid, and the Pads finally found some ways to score...hip hip hooray...

I have found NOWHERE an explanation for the coat that FLOTUS flaunted...was this an edict from POTUS?...don't tell me she did it on her own...

Kim K has let out a couple of gems (sounds weird, again)...that she is through with her selfies (right)...and that her kids don't know she is famous...ahem, for what?...please...disgusting, I say...

Comey is ashamed how POTUS has been managing the immigration crisis...what?...when has he NOT been ashamed of Trump?...add that to his list...

We tried to watch Costner's 'Yellowstone'...in our view, bad acting...or a bad script...or a combination thereof...and it is a no...sorry, Kev...

Here at the home, we have a 'Board of Owners', that guide us commoners thru the everyday life in the condo...when there are 185 homes, in this close of a proximity, it is a must have...well, like many 'home owners associations' out there, to keep up the value in the communities...and integrity, I suppose...anyhoo, I see one of the items on the new agenda...is the discussion of a different cable system...we now have COX...there is a push for AT&T...anyone out there in the Horse World, that has that system now?...let me know what you think of it...

Hey OREGON, the Beavers are a game away from playing for the Beisbol title!...you know I am a Duck fan, but cheer for the other team, too...just not when they play the Quackers...
