When has this daily political abyss been so evident?...wherever you turn, whether it be by newspaper pages, TV channels, click of web net sites, or the ever present social media...the lines have been drawn and deepened...throw in just conversations with friends and neighbors, it has become almost radical...some won't allow their spouses to even TALK about POL-I-TIC TIC TIC-S...

The Horse has an opinion that we are not there, yet...it will get even worse...gone is the day of rhetoric...the 'put in motion' phase is upon us...the T Level...of the Trump regime...trade, tariffs, the wall, the immigrants, er, 'torn apart'...so what is next?...reports are that his ratings have INCREASED!...which means what?...

So, when I say it will 'get worse' there are many others that say it will 'get even better'...and there you have it...the great divide which is getting even GREATER...is it as simple as Republican vs Democrat?...I don't think so...it is much different...I'm not sure I want to give names for the sides, but there are some out there that would do...

And I am not on the fence, either...used to be...had hopes, like many of you...but...there are just too many instances of decision making...from 'the seat of his pants'...the hiring of a Defense Secretary, and then refusing to listen to him, due to the guy saying something that 'he didn't want to hear'...the odious 'separation of families in the border states'...the trade and tariffs combatant with our ALLIES...the incessant and never-ending Tweets to anyone that rebuffs him...the list?...goes on and on...

Where is this leading?...I don't know...nobody really knows...how can you?...there is no pattern...for you who are believers, it must be due to Patriotism, right?...he is the President...that must be your rationale...what else could it be?...so, as the time marches on...we will continue to see more comments, slogans, and caricatures...expressing the abysm that now is entrenched in our country...

'Thanks for the memories'...watched a biography of the comedian/host of the prior generation...Bob Hope...often seen as a relief to the tragedies that the nation was going through...the wars, starting with WWII...as he would travel and give shows to the soldiers...give them a brief respite in the fight for their lives...his many flicks with Bing Crosby...his many lurves...and his unabashed devotion and dedication to the leadership...of the USA...his private life was much different than what the public saw...but, that was the mantra in that era...listen, there were many more positives, than negatives...for him....actually, it was not even close...via NETFLIX...

I am fearing a free fall for the bungling Pads of SD...yet another loss...while cruising...not surviving a horrific missed 3rd strike, the pardoned batter then got a critical hit...a dropped fly in RF...a muff of a ground ball to 2B...all this, hardly MLB caliber stuff...in Texas...the hits just keep right on a coming...if you are a Padre fan, your faith in them, is being tested...

Ah yes...the adjustment in the Trump Tariffs...one company says that they have to go overseas to get their product done...now the change has been made...Harley-Davidson...DJT just caught wind of it and is hopping mad...and Tweeted this, the company will be 'taxed like never before!'....I can't make this stuff up...

The NBA named their best of the regular season last nite...MVP went to James Harden...the Beard...well, he was the most offensive...valuable?...ROY...rookie went to the 76er PG, Ben Simmons...weird, as he was in his 2nd year of the league...didn't play in the first...COY...coach went to the 'fired', former Toronto HC, Dwane Casey...er, what have you done for me, lately?...OK, 'I really don't care, do u?'....wait, that comment was already used...by whom?...

Didn't we go through with the 'can't serve you' thing like 70 + years ago?...the refusal at an eatery is just another example of the abyss...think it will end here?...no way, not now...

Just why did the stocks start at a plus today?...name one person who can tell me the reason....just one...

According to Food and Wine, the best meats you can get...are at COSTCO....they have the finest PRIME beef...you see, what you can get at your local market is CHOICE...a step down...we like it tender, now don't we?...

Here you go...there is this waiter of 24 years working at a diner on Long Island, NY...ICE agents did their work...found him as an illegal...shackled his legs, and incarcerated him...then boarded him on a plane to deport him back to his original country, Albania...he did not get the right to call his wife or 2 kids...Sokol Vokshi...'I didn't know what hit me'...
