Just a wunnerful start to the west finals...as them Golden Staters did a number on the favs and home standers, the Rockets...team play...won over the individual style of the Beard and his mates...I think Chas, Kenny, and Shaq said it best at half time...which was tied then...Houston's style frustrated them and would in the end...falter...yup...as KD, Steph, KT, and the enforcer, DG, led a 2nd half near rout...now THIS, is a good thing...yes, I am a believer...

With your Supreme Court knocking down the 'sports betting law'...there will be a stampede at the local congressional areas for each state...to write up 'state rules' for allowable sports gambling...a HUGE takeout will do wonders for the money that they can get...wonder what Vegas is thinking right now?...there goes their monopoly...

Let's go to 'the Leakgate'...where the Trump person, let out the McCain blurb...alas, the country wants an 'I'm sorry' from the gal who said it...nope, it is being handled 'internally'...so said the WH Asst Press Sec...however, the issue is getting major play inside the White House...POTUS was extremely upset as to whomever leaked it...his spokesperson, Kellyanne Conway, said that there would be heads rolling...in this day and age, an inappropriate statement in its own right...listen, he is more disturbed that it got out, rather than what was said...does this bother you as much as it does me?...what is he focused on?...I think we know...

The mighty Pads...locked into a good game last night versus the Bud Black's Rockies...3-3...and out trotted our Mgr Greens choice of relievers...who can barely chuck it at 80 mph...of course, he gave up a 3 run HR, and our fate was obvious...this pitcher was demoted a few weeks ago, as he continually got lit up by MLB hitters...no mas, Horse...

How about this for some real news...USA Today ran an article about the 'drunkest cities in the USA'...hmmm, the state of Wisconsin dominated the top 20...9 cities, and the numero uno?...Green Bay...in Wisconsin, of course...they also ran the 'driest'...the top 2 were...well, guess...I will say that Tennessee had a bunch, but the winners (?) were from...Utah...I bet you can figure out why...

The Royal Wedding is around the corner...not sure what to do with my invite, as I can not attend...maybe I should give it to some, er one, of the Meghan Markle fam, who are there, but many have no invites...wait, isn't she in the wedding?...

So the airplane is flying high...no probs...and the front window gives way...and the co-pilot gets sucked out...well, they kept him from departing the plane...imagine...Sichuan Airlines...from Hong Kong...oh my...

News out of the Big Apple, is that the one and only...Bill O'Reilly is about to return to the pixels...his temporary ban, must have been lifted...there you go...

Now, this may take you way way back...if you can go this far back...but I ordered a greatest hits of Shelley Fabares...what?...in my hey days, she was the grooviest, softest sounding, hippest chick of them all...'Johnny Angel'...

Finally, I got some 'Mother Day' gifts for MM...and they have not arrived yet...sheesh...made me look like a goober...and I placed the order like well in advance...shame shame shame...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
