The Royal Wedding

Morning, kids...I missed it...the pixel carried it LIVE!...but, I was in sleep mode...yet, the Royal Wedding went on as planned, anyway...shoot, Oprah was there...the pix of the event appears that there weren't any hitches in it...looked like a success...and now the happy couple can move on to...well, whatever they do...represent the United Kingdom?...something like that...bully for them...how many of youse, got up early in the am, and marveled at all the pomp and circumstance?...

Dang if Pippa didn't steal the show of another of them British weddings...she has the audacity to show up preggers!...kids these days...anyway, the new couple has names...the Duke and Duchess of Sussex...nice ring...better than Crazy Horse?...I was just thinking...what does it take to be a Countess?...like the gal on the Non-Housewives of NYC...how is she a Countess?...she married a Count?...the only one of them I can think of is Dracula...

The aftermath of the newest school shooting...more tragedy!...10 killed and 10 more wounded...in a school in Texas, where they WERE ready for such an attack...I guess a deranged kid, with a shotgun and hand gun...did his assassinating...as this school year comes to a close, we must look at some chilling numbers...this is the 16th shooting in a school in the past 5 months!!!...

Of course the politicians give up their near meaningless 'thoughts and prayers' to the victims and their families...say that there 'needs to be more done to stop these senseless acts'...how many times can they regurgitate the same things?...gun control has to be atop anyone's list...but theirs...as they shamefully, collect the checks from the NRA...and blurt out that there needs to be more done on the local level...more mental health checks on those in need...blah blah blah...they KNOW what needs to be done...they KNOW it...but the almighty lobbyist's money supersedes any of the reality...shame...listen, I have said this over and over...sadly, one of the students of the high school said this, "I knew were were going to get shot at...one day..."...YOU, who can change what happens in Congress, are YOU listening?...

Yes, graduation is up next for high schools all over this country...and the burden of the unexpected just has to be on everyone's mind, who are 'trying to celebrate' the achievement...so sad...

The NBA kicks back into play tonight in Cleveland...as the Cavs try to win at home versus the Celts...win at home, is a must...if not, the series is over...fuggit about the 'will factor of LeBron'...the home cooking will prevail, and the media circus will clamor up about how, high and mighty King James is...hey, King?...I thought that was only for them Brits?...

The mighty Pads got game 2 in Pitt...Tyson Ross, continues his resurrectional pitching...the relief corps somehow got thru some crazy late inning possible rallies...and there you go...get this, there is not that much difference from the top to the bottom in the NL West...get on a roll, and weird things could happen...what have I been smoking, you ask?...

The Preakness is today...Justify is set to get it...and move on to the 3rd leg of the Triple Crown...in a perfect hoss world...hmmm, that is how I am going to bet it...HDCP Andy and I will test our handicapping abilities, with usage of the almighty dollar, to get to the promise land...egads, what is that?...

Yahoo just released a quality check article on the worst 7 pizzas chains in the land...ah, must be USA...that land...I will tell you this...they are all bad...maybe the worst...only Padington's in little Salem, Orygun, is the best...trust the Horse...

Well now, Snooki, how did the Stormy visit go in the great Pacific Northwest?...I can't read any of the pooh from the Statesman, as I have opened up 5 items in the past year or so...whatever....

Gotta finish with this blockbuster...the roles of an actor and actress can be very invigorating...often, going out of character can be worthy of an Emmy or Oscar...right?...well your girl, Jennifer Aniston, is going to portray the Prez...what?...well now...really?...can't imagine...

I know you gave me this check to give to Stormy, but I had other things to do. Next time go through a guy names Cohen out of NY. According to the local paper, some guy threw his wallet at her face while she was performing. Security or Police intervened. Later the guy said he was "shit faced" and apologized. Someone said he worked at Western Oregon.

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
