Morning, kids...the shine is beating down upon ya....wondrous weather here in SoCal...as we hit the beach after an early round of golf...and joined up with thousands of fellow sun worshipers over at Mission Beach...it does not get any better than this...top it off, when the kids are with ya'll...bingo!...

Somehow we avoided all the hoopla of Cinco de Mayo...it was all around us, but the other options were better...enough said...

The NBA...the Cavs are still waltzing thru Toronto...as are the Celtics bashing the 76ers...I don't think coaching Philly is easy or fun...the west will play out to be, the two top seeds...as they go today...

How about them Padres!...they were NO HIT on Friday, by a bevy of Bums...4 pitchers combined to silence the SD bats...in Mexico...where the Trib pronounced that there was an average of 100 to 1, LA jerseys to SD's...yes, this is supposed to be a Padre set of home games...alas, the game yesterday, was a turnaround...and the Pads got the W...hip hip...happy Cinco de mayo...San Diego always wins on this date....ah hem, not...

Not sure that there is a better meal out there, than at Sally's...right on the Bay...a few blocks jaunt for us...with terrific views of the water...the yachts...just plain cool...Marsh had sushi, the kids had a triple seafood plate, and I, of course, had a perfectly cooked tenderloin....

Of ALL the possibilities in the Derby, the favorite, Justify...won...yes, I had it...but...that was the worst possible winning money thang...the LA hoss, trained by the legendary Bob Baffert...just may have a real triple crown contender...

POTUS will probably be interrogated over the Russian Collusion issue...and his newest lawyer, Rudy, says that Trump may use the 5th amendment to avoid the q's...'to the best of my recollection'...or...'I will not answer that question on the grounds that....'....if he does, the onslaught will follow...

Well now, the NRA had its annual meeting...and of course, POTUS made an appearance and made a speech...odd, that he wouldn't show at his own...the White House Correspondents Din Din...ha ha...Humpty Dumpty...

Maybe on the same line as above...Chicago is warming up...and since Monday....this is real, kids...74 people have been shot!...this is THE headline of USA Today...

Talk about stunned...there is this song, 'Come On Eileen'...from back in the 70's or 80's...remember it?...catchy little ditty...I heard it again on XM...and they listed the sangers...a group I have never heard of...so...I called up Snooki, knowing I would stump the jock...he KNEW it!...shoot, I bow down to the master of rock...

This just released...John McCain...who ran the unsuccessful campaign for Prez a few years back...stated that he regrets naming Sarah Palin as his running mate...duh...what could be the problem?...

Time for some wassies and eggs...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
