Outside My Window

Doesn't make much difference where you are...but to look outside is mighty refreshing, maybe more enlightening...as I look Outside My Window...and watch the day...unfurl...a common passage of blokes just LIKE me...the beauty of a condo...seeing the hustle and bustle of a city beneath you...it makes you feel...ALIVE!...

We have been toying with replacing our appliances, maybe more in the 'upgrading mode'...had a well known contractor out yesterday to discuss the idea...when asked what he would do, if it were his, he replied "wait until they are broke"...ah hem, he must have all the business he needs...ha ha...we'll head on out to the appliance store he recommended...and do a look see...if it does not invigorate us, we will shelve it...as you know, we have the 7 year itch...

Just can't imagine a cup of coffee not in hand...take that away from your morning, and it would be a crisis in the making...have that feeling often, when we are traveling...NEED COFFEE!...why is this?...and it better be strong, none of that weak stuff...

How many years has it been, since the daily ritual included the aforementioned coffee and the morning newspaper?...yes, the printed thang...yup, alteration has been applied...I read me eleven sources prior to the paper...on the web net...and there are those of you out there, that no longer get the printed paper...the millennials?...probably in the lower part of the 20%...really...

Sometimes I hit on real issues of the day...like when I talked about paying the bills...how usually one of the duo, does it...and the other has no clue to the procedure...and they must teach the other the process...in case...well, you know, just in case...I didn't think how it may affect what YOU do...now I do...like today's banter...a reality look at what's what...

A few blocks away the mighty Pads did scratch out a W last night...all of the games are carried LIVE on our COX cable...sometimes, I take for granted that we have that as a daily outlet...there are those in LaLa Land that would go gaga for it, to see their beloved Bums...alas, they are not carried on the major cable system there...have to go to the ball yard, or...just listen to the games on the radio...

The final 4 are set in the NBA....the east has the Cavs vs the Celts...the west has the Rockets vs the Warriors...these are 'must see teevee', if you are a hoops junkie...you want some predictions?...don't bet it...Cavs and Rockets...yet, I want the other two...

In the league, the fellow coaches vote...for their Coach of the Year...happens on most levels of play...there must be some bad blood...as the Celt's Coach, Brad Stevens, had an awesome year, getting Boston where they are, WITHOUT his two best players, who are injured...and he got NO VOTES!...hmmm...

In the ongoing trip of the Stormy Daniels saga...her lawyer continues the beat of the money laundering of the Trump lawyer...call it what you want...but, if true, it is a deal breaker...HD is on the wall...and is teetering...

Mother's day is fast approaching this weekend...listen, kids...it does mean a lot...and I have always felt that I NEVER did enough...when she was alive...do NOT make that mistake...take advantage if she is still with us...nuff said...

How about this...from yesterday's news and scandals...Monica Lewinksy...remember her?...was invited to a gala event...then was abruptly 'uninvited' cuz former Prez Clinton was...and they couldn't have them both there, now could they...what?...

Syria must be running amok...as both Iran and Israel are bombing each other's strongholds in that country...what?....what are they doing there anyway?...a ticking time bomb...BTW, what is going in Iraq?...what are we NOT hearing?...you can't tell me that the country is stabilized...

This JUST out...Congress released thousands of ads...that were bought and paid for on FACEBOOK...that were funded by...the Russians...maybe, just maybe, the app got too big, too fast...

This is quite the spectacle viewing in golf...the island green...that makes the Pros tremble...with but a wedge or 9 iron in hand...The Players...I have 5 choices to win...Day, Rickie, Lefty, Patrick 'Masters' Reed, and Berger...with a name like that, you just have to take him, right?...
