Mid Terms

Strikes fear into most everyone, the thought of 'Mid Terms!'...tests...them bloody tests...however, I am talking POLITICS, kids...as we have an election coming up on June 8...the ballots are here, as well as the voter's pamphlet...now be honest, how many of you actually read these thangs?...I do...and I am amazed at the production...there are blokes running for an office, that have NOTHING about them in it...just a name and a picture...there you go, vote for me, just cuz...eerily similar to the campaign we have here at the home, for those running for the Board...ha ha...I digress...

Over at the Players in Jacksonville, Florida...the PGA dudes are slamming the course...like scoring real well...hmmm, except the ones I picked...especially Lefty, who absolutely FELL APART, like hackitis, on the back 9...and is last in the field...Tiger and Rickie are on the bubble...and for pure drama, you must catch the island green on #17...great teevee....the leader is a young guy, Patrick Cantlay...who is impossible to watch...he stands over his shot FOREVER!...hit the damn ball, kid...

Could say the same for the inept Padres...as they continue their feckless ability to find contact with a pitched baseball...yes, we hear you Mgr Green...we are a young team, growing...blah blah blah...heard the same story for 10 seasons now...it is getting old...speaking of old, why on earth would  you start Headley at 3B?...who continues his prolonged lack of hitting...0 fer 4 and now his average is at, get this, .120!!!...where does that fit with a young team growing?...

We ventured down to the border yesterday...to the Mall of the Americas...they have a Columbia Outlet Store...my point?...driving thru and around the rigs going in and out of Mexico...just real strange...real strange...not sure I like doing it...well, I don't...

With all the new fangled gadgets on the '18 Beamer, we are to meet up with their 'Genius Crew', to show us how to use all of them...you go thru this with your new vehicle?...interesting how much has changed in the past 3 years...

Yea, and this...you do know that we wouldn't have to endure countless interrogation sessions with the Congress, if the positions weren't always up for grabs...quit FIRING people!...hire 'em and let them do their job...

Did you know....that over there in Nashville...our maybe destination...there is a Music Festival in September...why do I bring this up?...cuz one of the sangers posted is...none other than Chris Shepherd!...no relation...

Bizarre...there is this new coffee shop in Nashville...that is going back to it's roots...called the site 'The Sit In'..."honoring" the black people who were trashed back in the 60's...trying to sit at the counter...too much backlash...and the name will be changed...
